Summary
In May this year,Read Dead Redemption, widely consideredone of the greatest games of all time, turned 14. In that time, the game was released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch, but never on PC — but that may be about to change.
Leaked in one of the most unlikely of places, thePlayStationStore, the critically acclaimed title is seemingly going to receive a PC release at some point soon.

According to the PS Store listing, players will soon be able to “Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation — now on PC for the first time ever.”
While no other details have been leaked about the potential port, the fact that the PlayStation Store is showing this information indicates that it could be coming soon.

A PC port of Red Dead Redemption wouldn’t be the biggest surprise, with the developers making moves to bring its older games onto modern platforms. In 2021,Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy: Definitive Edition, featuringGrand Theft Auto III,Vice City, and San Andreas, was released on console and PC.
Rockstar is notorious for skipping the PC platform when it launches games, something fans can expect with the upcomingGTA 6. The title isconfirmed to be console only, with a former Rockstar dev suggesting the company “doesn’t have the resources” to develop the game for PC. That’s not to suggest the game will never come to PC -Red Dead Redemption 2hitSteama year after its console launch andGTA Vover 18 months after it released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 - but that’s just how Rockstar deals with development.
