From Pokemon, the places they call home, and even sets that move once you’ve finished them, there’s a lot of stuff to choose from on the Pokemon Mega front this Prime Day. Plus, by the time you see this, Prime Day will almost be over. That can be a good thing, though. You now know exactly how much you’ve got left to spend after trawling through deals for the last 36 hours or so, or you’ve still not managed to find anything and now I’ve finally presented you with some worthwhile deals on Pokemon Mega sets.
If you’re simply looking for a Pokemon you can build yourself, there are a lot of discounted sets to choose from. Mega’s Charizard set, which has toy flames shooting from its mouth once complete, is just $15, almost a third off its regular price. The slightly more expensive Pikachu set, which is what kicked off my own Pokemon Mega collection last year, is also on sale. Down to less than $47 rather than just shy of $60 for a set that includes more than 800 pieces and leaves you with a Pikachu model once you’re done.

Sets Big And Small For Pokemon Fans Of All Ages
Mega Pokemon Charizard Set
Mega’s Charizard set is a smaller and simpler one from the Pokemon collection. At only a little more than 200 pieces, it’s the perfect set if you’re looking for a way to get the younger Pokemon fan in your life into building Mega sets.
If you’re here for something a little more challenging and want to spend more while saving more, then you’ll want to take a look at Mega’s larger motion Pokemon sets. These are different, and more expensive, not only because they’re made up of thousands of pieces rather than hundreds, but also because they have a crank you turn to make them move once you’re done. The Gyarados motion set which makes the Dragon-type look like it is moving through the Mega water once down is $60 off, down to less than $110, andthe Charizard set with moving wings is down to less than $100, usually costing $140.

Mega Pokemon Gyarados Set
Made up of 2,186 pieces, Pokemon’s motion Gyarados set is one of the biggest in the Mega range. Once complete, the set has a crank you can turn that will make Gyarados move, giving the impression it’s swimming through the water.
A couple of Mega locations, includinga Pokemon Centerandthe still very new Pokemon Stadium set, are also on sale, both of them reduced in price by at least 25 percent. Plenty to keep you going in your Pokemon Mega quest, or to get you started on your new journey.
