Turns out Amazon may have jumped the gun a little asPlayStationhas since confirmed Aloy is part of a new collection that has turned multiple characters from some of PlayStation’s biggest games into action figures, pulls fromGod Of WarandGhost Of Tsushimaamong them.
Dubbed The Shapes Collection, joining Aloy when their pre-orders start going live will be action figures of Kratos and Atreus from God of War, Ghost of Tsushima’s hero Jin Sakai, and Aloy’s close friend Varl, also from the Horizon games. It appears the Aloy figure was the first to be revealed, and first to go on sale, as it is quite a bit more elaborate than the rest of the collection, featuring 42 points of articulation and including weapons and other accessories so you can customize her face and stance.
The PlayStation Blogreads that the other characters in the collection will have between 24 and 34 points of articulation and come with between two and four accessories, depending on the action figure. Pre-orders for the additional characters will start opening on July 15 ready for a full release in September, although it’s unclear if the quartet will all be available at once or if pre-orders will go Iive gradually throughout the summer.

PlayStation God Of War Kratos Action Figure
PlayStation’s Kratos action figure turns the God Of War into a collectible toy, part of The Shapes Collection. The figure has 31 points of articulation and comes with Kratos’s iconic weapons, including his Leviathan Axe and the Blades of Chaos.
The action figures will be available through the PlayStation Gear store - as well as Amazon in the US - and even though you can’t secure yours yet, their store pages have already gone live. Those pages confirmed the prices of the four other figures will be quite a bit cheaper than the Aloy one. $29.99 each for Kratos, Atreus, Varl, and Jin. PlayStation doesn’t note whether this will be a one-off or if more PlayStation action figures will join its Shapes Collection, but with characters like Nathan Drake and Ellie missing, you’d imagine there are more to come if these sell well.
PlayStation Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Action Figure
PlayStation’s official Aloy action figure is based on the hero’s likeness in Horizon Forbidden West. The figure comes with 15 accessories - four weapons, five faceplaters, and six pairs of hands. It also has 42 points of articulation, allowing you to replicate Aloy’s action poses from the game.
Notable by their absence in this initial drop of five figures isAstro Bot. With the follow-up figures given September release dates, the same month as Astro Bot’s launch exclusively onPS5, you’d have thought including the little guy in this collection would have been a no-brainer.PlayStation has released new Astro Bot merchahead of the mascot’s first full non-VR game in two months, and it’s still not too late to claimyour free Astro avatars on PS4 and PS5.
