Summary
PlayStationwarnedPS5owners that it has nothing coming in relation to its tentpole series until at least 2025, but trailers during its last State Of Play and thenSummer Game Festrevealed that’s not entirely true. While there’s still no confirmation of a Ghost Of Tsushima 2 or The Last Of Us Part 3, we will be gettingAstro Bot in September, and thenLego Horizons Adventuresat the end of the year. Until Lego Aloy gets here, you can fill the Horizon-shaped hole in your life with a new Aloy action figure.
Pre-orders for the action figure are available now on Amazon. Priced at $49.99, the Aloy figure is quite a bit more elaborate than your standard action figure. Naturally made to look as much like the Horizon hero as possible, the Aloy toy has 42 points of articulation, allowing you to use the figure to replicate any number of action poses inspired byHorizon Zero Dawnand its sequel,Forbidden West.

Aloy also comes with 15 accessories you can use to further make it look like the character has been lifted out of the games and put on your shelf. Among the weapons included with the action figure is a bow and arrow complete with a quiver from which Aloy can pull from, and an accompanying spear. There are also five faceplates and six pairs of hands so that you can match up the figure’s grip with whatever weapon she’s using at the time - if any - and so you can make sure her expression matches the situation she’s facing.
An Aloy Action Figure And An Aloy Lego Game In The Same Year
PlayStation Horizon Forbidden West Aloy Action Figure
PlayStation’s official Aloy action figure is based on the hero’s likeness in Horizon Forbidden West. The figure comes with 15 accessories - four weapons, five faceplaters, and six pairs of hands. It also has 42 points of articulation, allowing you to replicate Aloy’s action poses from the game.
The box the action figure comes in can also be used to display Aloy if you don’t want her out in the elements. The figure joins similar PlayStation action figures fromGod Of WarandThe Last Of Usin the studio’s growing collection. Clearly viewed as being on the same level as those games, especially when you take into account the number of copies the two mainline Horizon games have sold so far, this will be the first occasion of many in the near future where Aloy is the one taken center stage among PlayStation’s first party exclusives.
Later this year she will do so again when Lego Horizon Adventures launches on PS5 andNintendo Switch. A huge opportunity for PlayStation to get a lot more people interested in the Horizon series, both by turning Aloy and her world intoLegoand by having the wherewithal to release the game on Switch. After that, there’sthe Netflix adaptation to look forward to, although it’s been a while since there was any sort of update on that project.
