No Man’s Sky PSA: Please Don’t Fish During A Tornado

PlayStation playerreallybi, shared their No Man’s Sky tornado fishing experience on Reddit, with a stark warning telling players “Do NOT fish during a tornado”.

Standing on a platform in the middle of the ocean in torrential rain and flashes of lightning, the player is watching their fishing float bob up and down on the water. All of a sudden, what seems like a giant gust of wind sweeps by, and reallybi is catapulted into the air.

Undeterred by the situation, however, the player keeps hold of their rod as the float and bait remain in the sea, determined to land a big catch. The ordeal continues for a solid 15 seconds, with reallybi rising and falling with the wind.

The new Aquarius fishing update goes hand in hand with No Man’s Sky Worlds Part 1, with the recent update adding much-improved water textures and the ability to land a ship on the water. The patch, which launched yesterday, added a whole new depth to the game, with new fishing rods, baits, equipment, and water jetpacks bringing further immersion to the eight-year-old powerhouse.
