Pick up a Switch now and you’ve got a massive library of games to choose from, a few more big games coming between now and the end of the year, and best of all, it’s cheaper than ever to hop on the bandwagon.
Nintendocontinues to hold firm and not slash the price of the regular Switch and its OLED model. It’s eager to shift more Switch Lites though as the most basic console in the Switch family is cheaper than ever with lots of colors to choose from. The size of the discount will be determined by what color you want your Switch to be, though. The yellow Lite is $163, the turquoise model is $165, and if you’re happy with a blue version of the console, you may get one for just $162.
You’ll need to head to Walmart for not only the biggest discount of all but for the best Switch Lite design of all the ones on sale. That does depend on how much you likeAnimal Crossing, although even if you don’t, it’s a great-looking Switch Lite and comes bundled with a game unlike the discounted consoles available at Amazon. The Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition Switch Lite is only $159 and includes a download code forAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Since that’s a $60 game, you’re effectively getting the Switch for $99.

The Switch has cemented its position as the third best-selling console of all time and might well end its run on top. Switch sales are inevitably slowing down, but with Switch Lites available for so little, and discounts for other Switch models likely still to come, it feels like a matter of when rather than if the Switch becomes the best-selling console of all time.
