There might be an expectation that Switch consoles of varying descriptions will experience price cuts like this one more and more as we move through 2024 and closer tothe official reveal of the next Nintendo consolebefore the end of the current fiscal year. Having sold more than 140 million consoles, Nintendo is still expecting the Switch to sell at least ten million more before it announces the Switch 2, making it a contender for the best-selling console of all time.
There’s also a Nintendo Direct confirmed to be coming some time this month. That Direct will reveal what Nintendo has planned for the Switch during the second half of 2024.
