Squishmallows revealed three of the six new Squishmallows coming to its Nightmare Before Christmas range on its Instagram account last week. Leading the way is the one and only Jack Skellington. Even though the Pumpkin King already has his own Squishmallow, this one is a little different. OG Squishmallow Jack is happy and smiling. This new plush shows the protagonist’s scary side, making the face Jack pulls in the movie just without his hands holding his mouth in place because Squishmallows don’t tend to have hands, at least not ones they can use.

Also revealed on Instagram are two Nightmare Before Christmas characters making their Squishmallow debuts - Dr. Finkelstein and Vampire Teddy. A couple of out-of-the-box picks as Finkelstein has a design you wouldn’t think lends itself to the adorable world of Squishmallows, and Vampire Teddy might not be a character you remember from the movie. It’s one of the toys Jack makes when he’s trying to get his head around celebrating Christmas.

While Zero and Oogie’s look similar to their pre-existing Squishmallows, Sally’s new design has a pet cat embroidered on the front to make it look like it’s sitting in her arms. Neither Jazwares nor Disney has confirmed a release date or prices for the next Nightmare Before Christmas Squishmallows, just that they will be here in time for Halloween.
