Summary
For the first time since Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars launched on the PSP in 2007, a newCrazy Taxigame is being developed for consoles. The title will be online-focused and take place in an open world, which has ledto some concerns.
If you’re impatient and can’t wait for the latest entry into Sega’s beloved franchise, though, anew Cyberpunk 2077 modmay just help to quell your thirst.

Taxi Work In Night City
The new mod, titled Taxi Work in Night City, will allow players to fulfill their taxi-driving fantasies around CD Projekt’s futuristic world.
Inspired by Grand Theft Auto and with more than a hint of Crazy Taxi, Taxi Work in Night City is an exceptionally deepCyberpunk 2077mod. V will be able to collect fares from around the city to provide safe passage between locations for their passengers. Players will earn a base fare for each trip they take, with a passenger tip that declines based on the journey time and the rider’s safety. And, if things become too unsafe for the customer, they will end the journey early.

By completing regular journeys, players will unlock the ability to purchase two new taxis from Autofixer: the Archer Hella “Combat Cab” and the Chevillon Thrax “Combat Cab.” Taxi firm Combat Cab has upgraded these vehicles to include heavy armor, bulletproof windows, and reinforced tires, “guaranteeing a safer and more reliable journey” for passengers.
Despite only being released around 12 hours ago, Taxi Work in Night City has already racked up hundreds of unique downloads. The mod has also been received remarkably well, withdozens of commentsand players exclaiming that modderRollermineCis “doing god’s work”.

Taxi Work in Night City isn’t the first mod that involves taxis in Cyberpunk 2077; however, it is the first that lets you run your own taxi service. Previously, modders added the capability for players totake Delamain cabs whenever they like, allowing them to really thrive in their Corpo lifestyle. The Transports of Night City mod works as almost the reverse of the Taxi Work mod, allowing players to pay more depending on the quality of the ride they desire. As with all things Cyberpunk 2077, money doesn’t guarantee safety, and players can still get in serious trouble even when riding with Delamain.
