I have decided to self-appoint myself as TheGamer’s Chief Cat Reporter. Last week, I reported on howZenless Zone Zeroplayers weredebating the anatomically correct size of a poor cat’s reproductive organs, and now, I have more news about the game’s kitties.
While Cat Balls, as he’s affectionately named, caused quite a stir with the ZZZ community, a new feline has been discovered, and it’s become an instant fan-favorite.
All Hail Barrel Cat
The new cat, who has lovingly been called a “chonker”, was discovered hiding in one of Zenless Zone Zero’s alleyways and, straight away, it drew adulation from the game’s many players.
Reddit user Arcadianotfound simply exclaimed “HOLY CHONKY KITTY” when they first saw Chonker, with another suggesting that maybe its size was from “sneaking leftovers from the noodle shop”.
OneZenless Zone Zero cat enjoyerhelped to give a rundown on the game’s felines, adding that the game “has no less than three different cat models…running the gamut from “fine boys” to “heckin chonkers”…with and without the family jewels.”
Fittingly, another Reddit user wisely stated, “The city cats do be chonky,” and they’re not wrong. A second barrel-shaped cat was later discovered down a different alley, this time being described as “thick AF”.
Despite clearly being two different breeds, the kitties share striking similarities in the body-shape department, and it’s evident that the cats in the game aren’t going hungry.
Debate is likely to rage over which of these is Zenless Zone Zero’s best cat. However, one Reddit user had a poignant message, simply telling other players, “All the different cats bring me joy.” It’s a reminder that we shouldn’t judge the kitties by the size of their bellies, or their balls, and should just appreciate them for what they are.
