Summary
Various clothing brands have teamed with studios to create official and unique merch spun from your favorite video games, and while Uniqlo is already one of the best-versed brands in that arena, it has taken the unique descriptor to the next level via its latest gaming range. To celebrate the 20th anniversary ofMonster Hunter, Uniqlo has rolled out a collection that lets fans design their own t-shirts and tote bags with a ton of stamps based on elements from throughout the series history to choose from.
The UTme range is live now on Uniqlo’s Japanese websiteand is also available in-store at select locations in Japan. Yes, the bad news is, for now at least, this new Monster Hunter collection is limited to Japan. However, the brand has stores all over the world and websites in different countries and tends to roll out its video game merch a short while after it has been released in Japan. That was the case for its Tears of the Kingdom andFinal Fantasy collectionsanyway.

Since the collection is still only available in Japan, and I’m relying on Google to translate the info about it into English, I’m not entirely sure what the limitations of it are. There are a total of 46 stamps to choose from, and even though the examples given on Uniqlo’s site only include one stamp per t-shirt, you seem to be able to add more than one design each time. While designing a shirt of my own the site wouldn’t let me mix Rise and World stamps, but I was somewhat limited by my inability to read Japanese.
Make Monster Hunter Merch That’s Unique To You
Most of the 46 stamps are pulled fromMonster Hunter WorldandMonster Hunter Rise, including Monsters from the latter’s Sunbreak DLC. There are also a few pixelated logos created for the series' 20th anniversary that would look great as a badge on the chest of a t-shirt if you are planning on using Uniqlo to create your own Monster Hunter merch. Prices likely vary depending on your design, but adult t-shirts start at 1,990 yen. That’s less than $14, but if the range comes to the US, its t-shirts will likely cost $24.90 as that tends to be the standard.
The wait continues forMonster Hunter Wildswhich will launch in 2025, butCapcomhas made sure the series' 20th year and the wait for Wilds hasn’t been quiet. Its Uniqlo collection joinsa growing range of plushes, most of which were announced at the start of the year and continue to be gradually released. Some of its amiibo were also re-releasedahead ofMonster Hunter Storiescoming toNintendo Switchearlier this year.
