Summary
If you’re one of the many comic book fans feeling nostalgic after the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, and are hoping to replay theDeadpoolvideo game orMarvel Ultimate Alliance, only to find out they’re inaccessible, then you’re not alone. That’s because Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, alongwith Deadpool, have long been delisted.
However, that may be changing soon.
According to insider Shpeshal Nick,Microsoftapparently is working on a way to bring back the games to itsXboxstorefront. As part of his Xbox Era podcast, the insider said the following when it comes to the classic superhero video games:
What I have heard is that Microsoft is working to get Deadpool and Marvel Ultimate Alliance re-activated, relicensed or whatever to bring those two games back.

Microsoft is trying to work through the process of getting those games relicensed.
No timetable was given, though we’d imagine that Microsoft is aiming to get those back up as soon as possiblein order to take advantage of the rise in popularity.
Deadpool Has Skyrocketed In Price
Unsurprisingly, Deadpool has seen a huge increase in price on the secondhand market.According to PriceCharting, a website dedicated to video game console and game pricing information, theXbox One port of Deadpool could have been purchased for as low as $30 last November. However,it’s now skyrocketed to over $96 for a complete in-box copy.
Things aren’t necessarily better on the Xbox 360 side, though the copies are considerably lower in price due to the fact thatit’s not Backwards Compatible. It doesn’t help thatthe Xbox 360 store was also shutdown, either.
That pricehike is the same for X-Men Origins Wolverine: Uncaged Edition, theM-rated Wolverine movie tie-in solo adventure that was exclusive to PS3 and Xbox 360. That game was never made availablebeyond its seventh gen copies and is not backwards compatible.
Fans have long clamored for it to be re-released, andwith Microsoft now effectively owning Activision, that game could see a port one day. Still, Shpeshal Nick did not mention the game in the podcast.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance has not seen a hike, though it’s been a longtime fan request for it to be relisted. These rumors follow a previous report of the Activision Transformers titles also being relisted. Where there is smoke, there’s usually fire, so perhaps these games will see a re-release soon.
