Summary
TheNintendo Switchhas been a mixed bag forMetroidfans.Metroid Dreadand Metroid Prime Remastered are both fantastic, and two first partyNintendogames on the same console from a series that isn’tKirbyorMario Partyshould be celebrated. However, theMetroid Prime 4shadow has been hanging over the Switch for its entire run. We now know the next Metroid Prime will be here in 2025, and that if you really want to play it in style, you can do so with a Gravity Suit Samus statue watching over you.
First 4 Figures has revealed the latest addition to its high-end Samus statue collection, and it’s the hero in her Gravity Suit from Metroid Prime. When you think of Samus, you likely picture her wearing her iconic orange suit. The Gravity Suit is similar, it just replaces the orange parts of her standard look with purple ones. The Gravity Suit was an unlockable item in Metroid Prime and has appeared in various games since, most recently in Metroid Dread on Switch.

There are three editions of the Gravity Suit statue to choose from at First 4 Figures, although only the collector’s and exclusive editions are available for pre-order. The very thick silver lining is that if you pre-order the exclusive edition before June 28, 2025, you will get it for $18 less which brings it down to the current price of the collector’s edition. The exclusive edition has LED lighting incorporated throughout the suit to bring Samus to life, including a light in her helmet that makes the visor light up, showing the protagonist’s face behind it.
Is Saying The Gravity Suit Looks Better Than The Standard One An Unpopular Opinion?
Samus’s cannon also lights up, and the Metroid logo she’s standing on does too whether you buy the collector’s or exclusive edition. The exclusive edition is $197.99 when full price, but $179.99, the same price as the collector’s edition, if you place your pre-order between now and September 9. The Gravity Suit joins Samus’s regular suit and Samus’s helmet at First 4 Figures, both of which also have multiple editions and are in stock.
Metroid Prime Samus Gravity Suit Statue
First 4 Figures has turned Samus in her Gravity Suit into a collectible statue, based on the way she looks while wearing it in Metroid Prime. The exclusive edition of the Gravity Suit has LED lighting that makes various parts of the statue light up, including its visor and cannon.
First 4 Figures' Gravity Suit Samus statues are slated to be released during Q4 2024 which is really not long to wait when it comes to this sort of thing. Video game statues of this quality usually have a release date of a year later attached to them once pre-orders have opened. Confirmation that, provided the statues aren’t delayed, they will be with you in time for the release of Metroid Prime Beyond. Now let’s just hope the game doesn’t disappear for another seven years.
