Marvel Rivalsjust got a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, giving us an update on development. Now, we have a date for the launch, June 09, 2025.
Unlike the last time Marvel Rivals was playable, this will actually be a full launch, so it won’t be going away afterwards. This release date reveal also confirms our starting roster, adding a couple of more faces to the lineup.
Marvel Rivals Is Launching On Jul 21, 2025
As per the trailer, Captain America and the Winter Soldier will be in Marvel Rivals from launch.The former had already leaked, giving us a look at his character model way ahead of the reveal, but this is our first time seeing him in action.
This is our first look at Marvel Rivals since theconclusion of its closed betaearlier this month. This made the hero shooter available to play from July 23 to August 5 across a limited number of maps and with a selection of the launch roster.
The beta appears to have been a success, with lots of positive chatter about the game online. In fact, some missed it so much that theycomplained about having to go back to Overwatch 2for their hero shooter fix. Alas, Overwatch is about the closest thing we have right now, at least until Marvel Rivals is playable once more.
But we won’t be waiting too much longer now. Marvel Rivalls returns later this year on December 6.
