Summary
If you want to rep aDisneycharacter in backpack form, odds are Loungefly has you covered. SinceMarvelandStar Warsfall under the Disney banner, quite a lot of the characters from those universes have their own Loungefly products too. Scarlet Witch has enjoyed a backpack here and there, but her Loungefly game is about to be taken to the next level, presumably due to Agatha All Along’s arrival on Disney Plus being right around the corner.
The appropriately namedScarlet Witch Updatesshared images of items in the upcoming collection, and you can technically buy everything featured in it right now. There’s a catch, though. For some reason, the backpack, witch ears, and jersey aren’t currently listed on either Disney or Loungefly’s US sites. Everything isavailable in the UKright now which means we can get a rough estimate of how much the items will cost if they become available in the US.
The Loungefly backpack is £80 which likely means it will be more than $100 in the US, the witch ears are roughly $55 after currency conversion, and the jersey is a tad higher than $97. Those all feel quite expensive, particularly the ears and the jersey, so here’s hoping the prices aren’t a straightforward conversion from pounds to dollars if and when the time comes for the Scarlet Witch collection to be imported to the US.
You Break The Rules And Become A Hero, I Do It And I Become A Backpack
The items all give off strong Multiverse Of Madness vibes which is fitting as that’s the last time we encountered theMCU’s Scarlet Witch. Spoilers for the latest Dr. Strange movie ahead, it’s implied that the incredibly powerful Wanda Maxinoff is killed in Multiverse Of Madness, although in a multiverse where anything is now possible, it seems unlikely she’s gone for good. Particularly with Agatha All Along about to debut on Disney Plus. The show would be the perfect place to confirm Wanda isn’t dead. Maybe she’ll even make a cameo.
While you patiently wait for Scarlet Witch’s Loungefly collection to arrive in the US, there’sa Cinnamoroll backpack that smells like ice creamyou can buy on the merch site’s store right now.Pokemon products have also been added to Loungefly’s Collectiv range, joining Star Wars andLoki. Don’t go looking for Acolyte merch, though. Just days after Disney confirmed the Star Wars show won’t be getting a season two,all merch tied to it disappeared from Disney’s online store.
