If you’re intoLorcana, you don’t need me to tell you thatDisney’s attempt to make a dent in the TCG world has been incredibly successful so far. Pretty much everything in new Lorcana drops sells out immediately, and so far TCG players and Disney fans alike have been impressed with what the game has to offer. Like any TCG, however, even though Lorcana hasn’t been around for long, getting started can be pretty daunting. However, one of its best entry points, Illumineer’s Quest: Deep Trouble, is on sale for Prime Day.

Rather than going up against a real person while you’re still learning Lorcana ropes, Deep Trouble has you fighting alongside another player, or playing alone, to defeat the iconic Little Mermaid villain instead. There are even difficulty levels meaning this set is perfect for someone who is picking up Lorcana for the first time or hardened players who want to hone their skills or keep the gameplay going even when they don’t have a fellow Lorcana player to compete against.

Disney Lorcana TCG: Illumineer’s Quest - Deep Trouble

Disney Lorcana’s Illumineer’s Quest: Deep Trouble set provides a different way to play the TCG. Instead of playing against another person, Deep Trouble has you playing alone or teaming with a rival to defeat Ursula.

The Deep Trouble set includes everything you will need to play the game, including two preconstructed decks for players along with a preconstructed scenario deck, a playmat you’ll need to keep track of what Ursula’s up to as you plan your own moves, as well as damage counters and everything else you’ll need to play the game. The aim of the game is for every player to reach 20 lore before Ursula hits 40. Do that and the sea witch will be defeated. If Ursula hits 40 lore before everyone playing hits 20, she will be victorious.
