Summary

It’s been four years in the making, butLego’s first-everThe Legend Of Zeldaset is finally here. It’s pretty special too as the 2,500-piece set is technically two sets in one. Whichever set you choose to build, you will end up with a Great Deku Tree to call your own. However, the tree’s design will differ depending on the path you choose. Build the set one way and you’ll end up with the Great Deku Tree fromOcarina Of Time, and build it the other way and you’ll have yourself the tree’s design fromBreath Of The Wild.

As impressive as all of that is, some Zelda fans were left a little miffed when Lego revealed the set would be a two-in-one situation. Largely because it will leave most who buy it with an agonizing decision to make. Or, once the set is complete, it will need to be disassembled and started again so owners can build the second tree, although that sounds like a good thing to me. You could just buy two sets so you can have complete versions of both, but at $299.99, that’s probably not something many people will be doing.

The Legend Of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Lego Set

Whether you plan on buying one or two Great Deku Trees, the first Zelda set is now available through the Lego Store. If you’d rather spend significantly less for arguably something equally as exciting, although that ultimately depends on your hobbies and interests,Dungeons & Dragons' Minifigure collection is also available now. There are 12 to collect, and the catch is you’re able to’t choose which ones you’re buying. You won’t find out which characters you have until you open the box.

Two Of Lego’s Biggest Drops Of 2024 Are Available Now

Each Minifigure mystery box costs $4.99, or you can buy a box of six for $29.94. I’m assuming that there won’t be doubles of the characters in a single box of six, but Lego doesn’t appear to confirm that’s the case on the box’s store page. The 12 D&D characters to have received the Lego Minifigure treatment as part of this first drop are Tiefling Sorcerer, Elf Bard, Halfling Druid, Dwarf Barbarian, Dragonborn Paladin, Aarakocra Ranger, Gith Warlock, Mind Flayer, The Lady of Pain, Strahd von Zarovich, Tasha the Witch Queen, and Szass Tam.

The Legend Of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Lego Set

The Legend Of Zelda’s first-ever Lego set is technically two Lego sets. Modeled after The Great Deku Tree, which has appeared in multiple Zelda games, the set will resemble the tree from Ocarina Of Time if built one way, and the tree from Breath Of The Wild if built another way. Minifigures of characters from both games are included with the set.

Dungeons & Dragons Lego Minifigure Mystery Box

The Lego wheel never stops turning, and with the holiday season right around the corner, it’s about to start turning even faster than usual.
