Summary
Larianis once again teasing one of the new evil endings coming toBaldur’s Gate 3in the next patch. This time, we get another look at the new extended cinematic forThe Dark Urge, which plays if you commit to an evil playthrough.
This preview also reveals what happens to The Dark Urge’s companions, as they witness their leader follow their father’s orders to control the Netherbrain in his name. As you might have guessed, it doesn’t end particularly well for them, as they appear to be the first victims of Bhaal’s reign.

New Ending For The Dark Urge Kills Off Your Companions
As you’re able to see in the clip, The Dark Urge uses their newfound power granted by controlling the Netherbrain to command their companions. Naturally, being the child of the God of Murder, they command their friends to fall to their deaths. Lovely stuff.
Of course, it sounds like this is only the beginning, as the narrator hauntingly tells us that this is the final act. Taking a look at theprevious preview we were shown- with The Dark Urge walking across rivers of blood, full of dead bodies - things are only going to get much, much worse from here.
But you don’t have to be The Dark Urge to be evil. Larian has previouslyteased another bad ending, in which a player from any origin controls the brain in theirownname. Here, we see the player control the citizens of Baldur’s Gate, lulling them into complacency as they rule the world.
These endings will be added to Baldur’s Gate 3 as part of Patch 7. This is set to drop this September.
