With an ever-increasingpeak of 16,000 players, and a’Very Positive' review score, the photorealistic characters of inZOI have thoroughly impressed those experimenting with the character creator.
inZOI received anew trailerat Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, showing ‘Zois’ in a variety of situations, including on a date, in a fender bender, fighting a kitchen fire and barbecuing. The trailer culminated in the announcement of the character creator, which is available on Steam until September 26.
inZOI’s Photorealism Has Thoroughly Impressed Players
The most-discussed aspect of inZOI is its photorealistic visuals, and Krafton has capitalised adeptly on this by releasing a character creator to generate excitement for its life sim. Unsurprisingly, a large portion of the positive Steam reviews mentionThe Sims, the undisputed leader in the life sim genre.
“Can’t wait for this product to kick Sims off its high horse,” one review reads. “Been playing The Sims since Sims 1 and I’m so happy to see some good competition coming out,” another review remarks.
Even the positive reviews have pointed out a lack of accessories currently available in the character creator. The negative reviews have highlighted how performance-intensive the demo is.
We learned more about the gameplay of inZOI from arecent trailer, giving us a better understanding of the breadth of the upcoming life sim. A unique aspect of inZOI is that through the use of artificial intelligence, you can import real-world objects into the game and use them as decoration in your residence.
There are also some ‘god mode’ elements to inZOI, you can customise the appearance of the city, or utilise various sliders to adjust the ‘culture’ of the city. For example, you can have a city with very open relationships and very unclean streets.
One of Krafton’s focuses with inZOI is building a dedicated community. Players will be encouraged to share and download community creations on a dedicated space called Canvas, allowing them to experience one another’s unique worlds.
