Infiltration, real name Lee Seon-woo, was spotted at Evo 2024 this weekend and has admitted to attending the tournament. This would seemingly be in breach of his 2022 ban, which forbade him from participating in the tournament. At the time, Evo said that this was in a bid to create a “welcoming environment” at the event.

Infiltration Admits To Attending Evo 2024

On Twitter, Lee admitted to acquiring Evo tickets through the fighting game site Start.gg, but had to make a new account as his last one had been banned. However, as pointed out by user TarZangief, this would be in breach of Start.gg’s terms of service, which specifically forbids users from making a new account for this reason.

For this part, Lee hasn’t been shy about his Evo attendance this weekend, and has repeatedly mentioned it on his own account. He’s alsoshared picturesof himself at the event.

Evo has been contacted for comment.

Lee was also spotted by attendees at the event, and could even be seen inan imagetaken by Red Bull Gaming.

Lee’s Evo ban came into place in 2022, with organisers citing a code of conduct breach. At the same time, he was also banned fromTwitchafter he used the N-word on stream.

This was far from the first time that Lee had come under fire. Most notably, the esports organisation Panda (then called Panda Global)terminated its contractwith Lee in 2018 after it became aware of his 2017 domestic abuse conviction. As part of this, Lee’s ex-wife was granted a temporary restraining order, and he was made to pay a fine. Lee denies being violent against his ex-wife.
