Space travel can’t all be rocket ships and stars, and this weekend,Monopoly Gois steering us right into the asteroid fields with the Asteroid Blast tournament running from2PM EST on August 16until2PM EST on August 18. Hopefully you’ll be steering right to the Railroad tiles as you spin around the board!
Not only are there some purple sticker packs on the line for the top four players on each board, but almost everyone will be raking in a good number of battery tokens for the Rocket Partners event running this weekend in Monopoly Go as well.
How To Play Asteroid Blast
As we take off into space this weekend with Asteroid Blast, Monopoly Go was kind enough to give us double points when we trigger Bank Heists afterlanding on the Railroad tilesaround the board. Shutdowns have stayed the same, but Heists are more valuable than ever!

Be sure to use ahigher dice roll multiplierwhen you’re a common roll (six, seven, or eight) away from a Railroad tile -your daily tournament scoresare always multiplied by the number on your multiplier, so a high multiplier on a successful Heist will be incredible for your score!
We don’t have any new aesthetics on the prize list this weekend in Asteroid Blast, but you can win potentially thousands ofbattery tokensto use on your builds inthe Rocket Partners eventhappening right now as well.
In terms of bringing in some stickers to finish yourMonopoly Games albumssooner than later, players whoplacefirst through fourthwill get apurple sticker pack, guaranteeing at least one five-star sticker! There are also fourblue sticker packs, four pink sticker packs, and three yellow sticker packs to divide between the top 15 players, too.
