Like many other gacha games,Wuthering Waveshas a weapon system, and your Resonator’s weapons can be made stronger by increasing their levels and their weapon rank. While the level increases will give them more raw power and stats, improving their rank upgrade makes their specific buff ability stronger.
Most weapon syntonization materials you can find in the world by fighting enemies and doing domains, but not all weapons are made equal, or need common materials. Some, like Augment, will often need a Gilded Gingko to upgrade their rank, and it’s not something you’ll find lying around in the world.
How To Obtain Gilded Gingko
Gilded Gingko is aspecial weapon upgrade material, and unlike the others, youcan’t get it from killing enemies or completing Forge Domains. Instead, you’ll need tohead to the Pioneer Channelon your menu, thentry to purchase the Connoisseur Channel upgradefor the pass.
The Gilded Gingko isonly used to upgrade weaponsfrom the Golden Eternal Series of weaponry obtained from the Connoisseur Channel:Augment, Autumntrace, Lumingloss, Stonard, and Thunderbolt.
One Gilded Gingko isobtained as a bonus itemwhen youpurchase the Insider Channel upgradefor the passalongside the Pioneer and Connoisseur Channel, and upon the completion of said purchase, you’llobtain the item right after it’s processed.
Each purchase of theInsider Channel gives one Gilded Gingko, but you’relimited to getting that material once per passseason, each of whichlasts around 40 days.
How To Use Gilded Gingko
Once you’ve got a Gilded Gingko,head to the Weapons menuand then to theSyntonizesection. Here, go toselect the materiallike you would normally, but this time you’ll be able toselect the Golden Gingko as a Syntonize material.
The upgrade willboost their weapon rank by oneandincrease the stats bonuses in the weapon’s ability, making whatever buffs they give you way more effective.
you’re able to alsouse duplicates of the Golden Eternal weapons to boost their Augment levelas well as the Golden Gingko, effectively giving you two rank-ups per pass if you purchase both premium options.
