Luckily, theAoEs of other attacks don’t deal the most amount of damage, so the most important thing is toavoid being caught by the dolls. If you’re caught, you’re guaranteed to get hit by an AoE, so do your best to avoid this.

Jack-In-The-Pot

The second boss of this dungeon is the Jack-in-the-Pot. Here are each of this boss’s attacks.

Troubling Teacups

Summon

Summonsfour teacupsandone ghostaround the arena. The boss will then useTea Awhirl.

When the teacups stop, the one that the ghost was tethered to will castTricksome Treat, dealing damage in alarge circular AoE. To avoid this, you’ll need totrack the tethered teacupto determine where it ends up, then move accordingly to avoid its AoE.

Toiling Teapots

Summons several teacups around the arena before pouring a purple liquid into them, dealing damage in anexpanding circle AoE. This will happen until all the teacups have been turned into AoEs. Tracking the tethered teacup can get tricky, especially on subsequent uses ofTroubling Teacupswhere there are more to keep track of. When the teacups start to spin, focus on where the ghost-filled teacup is going. If you trust your teammates, you’re able to work together to keep an eye on all of them and successfully avoid this mechanic.

Poltergeist

The boss will float boxes into a cross shape, dividing the arena into four quadrants. These will deal damage in the area where they land.

Memorial March

To avoid this tether attack, you’ll need tomove far enough away from the Stray Geistuntil the tether turns purple. To do this, you’ll need tostand on the blue panel, which willturn you into a ghost, allowing you to pass through the boxes that divide the arena.

Theseconduse of Memorial March is completely different. This time,a row of two sets of Stray Phantagenitrixwill spawn along the north side of the arena. These will then use aline AoE attack down the arenain sequence. Immediately after, the boss will useBitter Regret, targeting the left and right sides of the arena.

traumerei, daylit nightmare, the final boss of the strayborough deadwalk dungeon

Thethirduse of Memorial March willcombine these effects, summoningfour Stray Geiststhat will tether to players, anda row of Stray Phantagenitrixon one side of the arena, which will then use their line AoE tocover that half of the arena. The line AoEs and tethers willresolve at the same time, so you’ll need to move to the safe side of the arena to avoid being hit with both of these attacks.

Ghostduster

AoE Markers

Targets all players with anAoE Markerthat willinstantly kill you if you are still in ghost form. To return to normal, step on the blue panel again, which will negate this AoE Marker.

Fleshbuster

Instantly kills all players that are in normal form. Step on ablue panelto enter ghost form to avoid this attack.

Ghostcrusher

Line Stack Marker

Targets a random player with aLine Stack Marker. Group up with them to split the incoming damage.

Traumerei will repeat these mechanics until it is defeated. Memorial March will only get more complicated as the fight progresses, and you’ll need to always be conscious of whether you’re in ghost form or not, as attacks like Ghostduster will instantly kill you if you are. Be cautious of your current form and avoid each mechanic to take down Traumerei.
