DespiteBlack Myth: Wukongfeaturing numerous bosses throughout the various chapters, the game doesn’t neglect its exploration aspect. The regions you’ll explore are vast and offer multiple secrets, characters, chests, and materials to discover if you take the time to explore thoroughly.
Many of these discoveries are optional, meaning they aren’t required to progress. However, completing them can reward you with valuable items such as Sparks, Will, or crafting materials to enhance the Destined One’s gear. One particularly noticeable feature in the Pagoda level is the purple prison cells, which are sure to pique your curiosity.

How To Unlock The Purple Prison Cells In The Pagoda
As you progress throughChapter Three, you’ll eventually find yourselftrapped in a Pagoda, which essentially serves as a prison. The first thing you’ll notice is thatmany of the cells are locked behind a purple barrier that you can’t seem to unlock.
These cells are lockeddue to a boss fight located within the Pagodathat you need to complete.

In order to reach this boss, you’ll need to progress through the Pagoda until youreach the Upper Pagoda.
From the cell where you were imprisoned,make your way up until you reach the second Keeper’s Shrinein this area,called the Upper Pagoda.
Instead of going straight ahead from here,head to the left and look down the ledge, where you’ll find a safe landing spot.
Drop down, and in front of you, you’ll see the boss,Captain Lotus-Vision, waiting for you.You need to defeat this boss to unlock all the purple prison cells in the Pagoda.
After defeating Captain Lotus-Vision,it’s worth going back to the starting point of the Pagoda and checking all the prison cells.
Not only is therean NPC quest you can complete, but there are alsonumerous chests you can obtain.
