One of the most engaging parts of first-person shooters likeXDefiantis grinding for weapon camos. They’re unlocked through the completion of various challenges, and help you look stylish on the battlefield. However, there is a selection of skins that function not just as vanity items, but also signify your dominance with a particular gun: mastery camos.
More mastery camos were added in the Season One update, and are sure to help you stand out in multiplayer lobbies. Just be prepared: these weapon skins may look nice, but like every unlockable in XDefiant, earning them will take a significant grind.
Every Mastery Camo And How To Unlock Them
There are six mastery camoscurrently in XDefiant:Bronze, Silver, Gold, Titanium Violet, Titanium Azure, and Titanium Prisma. They are alllocked behind achieving a certain weapon levelwith a gun.

The Titanium Azure and Titanium Prisma skins aren’t just pretty colors;they’re actually animated. Titanium Azure willmorph into different hues of blue and green, while Prismacycles through all the colors of the rainbow.
How To Level Weapons Up
Weapon experience isseparate from profile and battle pass progression. Theylevel up through normal use, eliminating the enemy team and performing feats of skill like Longshots or Killstreaks.
It’s important to note thatevery gun levels up individually, so you can’t get a mastery camo and apply it to other weapons;they need to be earned again.
You can expedite the processeven more byusing weapon XP boosters. These will have youacquiring weapon experience at double the speed, helping you reach your mastery targets sooner.
