Quick Links
If you complete every level inAstro Bot’sTentacle System, you might be a little confused as to why you’re still missing a few bots (and possibly one jigsaw piece). That’s because there are hidden levels in each system, and Tentacle System is no different. It is, however, a little different from Gorilla Nebula as it introduces Voids - more on that below.
Jigsaw Piece
First though, the simple matter of the missing jigsaw. At random points, aUFO will spawn in the Tentacle Systemand bring with it a jigsaw piece.Hold R2 to chase after it, avoiding levels where you can as these slow you down. Crash into it to grab the jigsaw before it disappears. If you’re too slow, just leave and come back - it’srandom but frequent.
Lost Triangle Void
This will appear on the map in the shape of a green triangle (no prizes for guessing the other three), but it’s not really a level itself. There’s some basic platforming, but no enemies and no challenge beyond accidentally falling off. However, itunlocks four new levelsthat are much tougher, each rewarding a bot. At this stage, the challenges are manageable, but they only get harder from here on out.
Pumpkin Peril
You can take on the Void levels in any order, but we’re starting with this one because we hate the pumpkin enemies and enjoy watching them perish.
You need tododge the first pumpkin’s misslethen bash it, slide along the glass to the next two pumpkins (laser jumps work well here),jump over the spikeswhile watching the pumpkin in the background, keep bashing enemies as you go, then walk along the electric triangles bylaser jumping when it rocks(that’s when it’s about to spin). Kill the last pumpkin andClaire Redfieldis free.

Fragile Frenzy
This might be the toughest level of the set. You want to start bylaser jumping over the glass to the stone, then doing the same again. To reach the platform with the trampoline, start in the bottom left cornerto take out the enemy, thencross to the top right to bounce up. Stay bouncinguntil the moving platform is directly ahead of you, then push forward to the steel square. Jump to the next, taking out the enemy and landing on the steel again.
When you reach the glass ring, you want tojump inside the electric triangle, not around, and need to hurry. Jump to the platform, swing from the rope, and againland in the middle of the triangle, not around. For the next platform,a regular jump (not a laser jump) is needed. Run around the corner, and here you canlaser jump but need to stop at the edge of the electric platform. You momentum carries you to the glass, then turn and laser over the next electric platform.

As you reach the ring, let the bombs stick to you but hold Square. As you jump down the slide, let go of Square to throw away the bombs, then laser jump at the bottom of the slide to reach the platform, free Aigis, and end the level.
Cut N Grind
The key thing to note here is thatlaser jumping on top of the saw enemies will stun them. Leap over the group that charges you, then for the ones moving across the thin beams, don’t avoid them - jump to where they are with your laser jumpthen bash them off, making it much easier. After this, it’s just a matter ofjumping on the rails and moving towards the finish linewhile waiting for gaps in the electric mines. At the end, you’ll havea Leon Kennedy bot to call your own.
Dillo Dash
While Rolling Star Sola taught you the ropes in Gorilla Nebula, Dillo Dash is a test of raw skill. Ride the armadillo over the spikes, andsteamroller through the slime blob before it can shoot at you. If you want to go slow, jump wide to dodge it. On the triangles,go slow and stick to the middleto avoid the bumpers. Then on the ramps, dash forward as the mines open.
For the spinning platforms, the key thing isnot to jump from one to the other. Time it so you can leap over the electric beam butstay on the same platform- this makes it much easier to balance. Then for the cylinder, it’s the same as the bumpers at the start. Yougo slow and wait for a gap. With that done, just jump at the end of the ramp torescue Teddieand be done with the Voids for the Tentacle System.

Retro Rampage 2
Once you’re done putting your skills to the test, you’ll want tokeep an eye out for a string of mini asteroidson the map. Crashing into them all unlocks Retro Rampage 2, which you’ll be familiar with if you played Retro Rampage 1 in the Gorilla Nebula. It’s basicallya combat challenge, but light work compared to the Void levels. Reach the end torescue Ken from Street Fighter- fitting after getting Ryu in the first Retro Rampage.
Crumble Rumble 2
Same old, same old. If you did the first one, you know what you’re doing.Crash into a randomly spawning asteroidto unlock it, thenlaser jump around the fire enemies in the middleto make them fall, while staying guarded yourself. Do that, andLucy from Everybody’s Golfwill be free.
