There are plenty of things to do inFarewell Northas you explore the Highlands with Cailey and Chesley. Each island offers a new challenge, and completionists will want to find every collectible and discover all that the game has to offer. Thankfully, we’ve already done all the hard work for you.

We’ve broken down the achievements and trophies into categories based on what’s related to the story, what can be missed, and what’s hidden. With a bit of patience, you can fully complete everything Chesley and Cailey set out to do. Here’s everything you need to know to 100 percent the game!

All Unmissable Achievements And Trophies

As you progress, there are some achievements and trophies you’llcollect along the waywithout having to do any extra work. These achievements and trophiescan’t be missed, but we’ve still detailed how to obtain them below:

Homeward Bound

You went back home.

In Teaghlach, you’ll reach Chesley and Cailey’s childhood home after herding sheep on the north side of the island.

Go Fetch!

You played a game of fetch.

There are several opportunities to play fetch as you progress, and some of them are story-related.

You finished Soraidh, the last island.

All Missable Achievements And Trophies

Many of the achievements and trophies in Farewell North are missable. They involve you having to travel to every island,find every collectible, and push the boundaries of exploration to unlock unique interactions. Some of them require you to be a good boy, which Chesley is quite skilled at.

Below are all theachievements and trophies you can missin the game:

Coos on the Loose

You found the missing Highland Coos at the Campbell Farm.

Once you reach the other side of the Campbell’s farm in Uair, use the tree arch to make the coos reappear inside the farm, then interact with them to animate them.

Lighthouses of Orkney

You restored all the lighthouses in Orkney.

Find and dig up all the lanterns across the islands and restore them to their lighthouses. The lighthouses are located on the following islands:

Love You, Mum

You brought Mum her favourite flower.

In Bron, you picked a flower and left it at Mum’s grave.

Magnus the Tourist

You took a guided tour.

Go through Bron and listen to Cailey recite the script for the historical tour. There’s a sign at the drawbridge that says “Tour Starts Here”, and following it will help you find each site where Cailey starts talking.

My Heart’s in the Highlands

You remembered Mum’s favourite song.

Find all 8 music notes to complete the song in the journal.

Never Learn

You didn’t learn your lesson in the cave.

After the cave collapses and you reunite with Cailey on Eynhallow Skerry, go back to the entrance of the closed-off cave.

Nothing To See Here

You covered up animal tracks.

When you come across animal tracks on an island, like Uair, have Chesley dig to cover them up.

Pet the Dog

You got your pets.

Bark at Cailey while standing next to her until she reaches down to pet you.

Quack Quack!

You reunited ducklings with their mother.

Interact with the ducks at the top of Nevi Skerry and guide them to the waterfall so they can reach the pond where the ducklings are.

Save the Whales

You freed a trapped whale.

Complete both the Northray and Southray Skerries to cute the ropes and free the whale trapped in the net.

You visited and completed every island in the game.

The Three Sisters

You bagged the three munros of Uair and learned Cailey’s real name.

Climb all three mountains in Uair and listen to Cailey at the peaks.

The Will-o'-the-Wisps

Collect all 30 Will-o'-the-Wisps.

Gather every wisp on the islands. The islands that have wisps hidden on them are as follows:

Well Rested

You found all of the rest spots.

You found and sat on all 12 benches around the islands. They can be found on the following skerries:

Hidden Achievement And Trophy

There isone hidden achievement and trophyin Farewell North, and it requires you tovisit the Faray Skerryand sneak off to a hidden area behind the island. In this area, you’ll find a bench that you can interact with, but it’s not like the other benches.

When you bark at it, Cailey willsit down and pull out a gaming console, allowing you to play theComfy Boy minigame!

The minigame will also beavailable from the main menuafter it’s unlocked.
