There are a total of 25 dungeons spread across Hinterberg, and a secret dungeon you can explore by advancing the story. This dungeon is inaccessible until progressing further in the story, and it provides insight into the town and the politics that maintain a careful balance between profits and destruction.

Here’s everything you need to know to solve the Toxic Archipelago dungeon puzzles so you may make progress towards completing every single dungeon.

How To Unlock The Toxic Archipelago
As you progress through the main story,Thea will eventually contact youto show you something concerning the village’s safety. After renting a boat and seeing what she wants to show you,Thea will give you a key to a hidden dungeon.
Take the key andmake your way to Hinterwald West. Ignore the signs warning you to keep out and press on until youreach the locked door. Use the key from Thea andenter a cavewhere you’ll find a hidden dungeon portal.

Toxic Archipelago Puzzles
When you enter the dungeon, be cautious! It’s quite dangerous as most of the area is filled with toxic water. We’ve broken down the puzzles into three sections, based on each major puzzle.
Rising Tides
For the first puzzle, you’ll want towalk along the wooden platformsto reach a woodenwheel you can turn. This raises the water, and consequently the platforms, so you canbacktrack and climb the marked ledge.
You can then progress to the end of the small island anduse your ranged magic to throw a ball of wind at the targetin the sea, triggering thesmall raft to drift your way. Hit the target again tomake the raft moveand enter the second puzzle area.
Target Practice
For the second puzzle, you’ll need tomove the rafts in the waterso you can cross. Head to your right and follow along the platforms until youreach a wooden wheel. Interact with it to raise the water and climb up the nearby ledge.Hop down to the other sideand step onto the platform.
Use your ranged magic to hit the target and move across the water. You’ll want topull the horizontal raft out of the path, all the way to one side.
Your ranged attack can beused to bring the two rafts together,then move from the horizontal facing one to the other and use the two targets to finally move the rafts past each otherand to the other side of the water.
Disembark and get ready for the final puzzle!
Raft Extravaganza
With the last puzzle, you’ll need tomove more rafts, but this time they have flags on them. Thered and yellow rafts need to be movedout of the way so that the blue one can carry you across.
Head to the right of the shore and use your ranged magic to traverse the toxic waters via raft. When you reach the wooden wheel, turn it to lower the waters. Make your way around to the hollowed out tree near the wheel and progress down the slope.
You’ll find a target here that canmove the red raft. Use ranged magic to move the raft out of the way, thenturn back to find the next target.
You’ll need to raise and lower the water repeatedly throughout this process.
Make your way across the wooden platforms toa second wheel, then use that wheel toraise the water and climb up the ruinsof a tower. Along this path you’ll be able tohit the yellow flag’s target, moving the raft out of the way.
Backtrack to the shoreline now that the coast is clear. Use yourranged magic to bring the blue raft to you, climb aboard, then hit the target again until you successfully reach the other side.
You’ll have toface a few waves of monstersonce you reach the final shore, but they should be manageable. Use yourAttack Conduits and magicfor crowd control and slay every last monster. When you’re done,collect your stampand make for the exit.
