How To Unlock The Lighthouse Reef Dungeon

The Lighthouse Reef dungeon is one of the hidden dungeons in the game. Located in Brunnelsumpf, you’ll have toturn on all three lighthouseslocated around the region to unveil the dungeon.

The Desolate Castle Lighthouse is the easiest to light up, as you only need toreach the island and climb the staircaseto reach the top. Once there,interact with the lightto turn it on.

In themaze of reedsaround the neighboring island, you’ll need touse your magic abilitiesto make your way to the lighthouse. Once you get there,ascend the staircase and interact with the lightto cast a beam at the dungeon’s location.

you may also take your kayak around the back and dock there for easy access.

The last dungeon will take a bit more work. Access to the lighthouse is locked away,inside an abandoned warehousesurrounded by monsters. Goaround the north side and fire a Plasma Ballat the light bulb inside through the hole in the wall. This opens the door to the warehouse.

Inside,place a slime cube on the mechanical platform, then press the nearby button to raise it. The cube will hit a pressure plate,opening the roofand allowing you to climb up the ladders in the corner of the room. Once on the roof, take the stairs andactivate the lighthouseto reveal the location of the dungeon.

Lighthouse Reef Puzzles

When you first enter the dungeon, you’ll need to use your cube to bypass spouts of water from octopus statues. Walk around or climb over the cubes to avoid taking any injuries.

Take the ziplinesacross the chasms and time your movements carefully to walk along the rotating platforms. Continue along until you reach a circular area where there are multiple paths ahead of you. Each one leads to another lighthouse, which you’ll need to activate.

Yellow Dragon Lighthouse Puzzle

The yellow dragon path is off to the left, and you’ll need to use the zipline to reach it. Climb up the lighthouse steps andactivate the lighthouse by using a Plasma Ballto materialize the yellow platforms. You can now interact with them and stand on them.

Make your way back down the stairs andpush the star buttonto rotate the platform. Use your cube to climb over the netting and continue across the chasm. Once you’re across,place the cube on the edgeof the rotating platform, thenpress the star buttonto move the platform in front of the octopus shooting water.

The cube will block the stream, and you cancontinue forward safely. Head up the hill, thentake the ziplineback to the center area.

Red Lobster Lighthouse Puzzle

Next, head to the red lighthouse with a lobster on the banner.Take the ziplineacross and make your way to the lighthouse. You’ll need touse your cube to climband access the lighthouse. Activate it to materialize the red items on the map, then make your way back down to them.

Place a cube on thewooden box with red paintafter pressing the button to lower the platform.Push the button againand climb up the cliffs.Use your cube on the wooden platformwith red streaks and press the star button in the new area toblock several streamsof water.

Then, circle around the stairs andcross the bridge nowthat it’s safe. Once you’ve passed the water streams,place a new cubeat the end of the bridge so you can climb up the ledge.Take the zipline backto the center and move on to the last lighthouse!

Blue Swordfish Lighthouse Puzzle

The last lighthouse puzzle is blue, witha swordfish banneron display. Mount the zipline across the chasm and make your way around the side of the lighthouse.

Use a Plasma Ballon the fish pipe to light up the tower and materialize the blue platforms. Head back andplace a cube on the platform. Press the button and cross the bridge.

You can either run alongside the block or you can climb on top and enjoy the ride.

Just up the stairs, you’ll need touse another cube to block water streamsand reach a star button. The platform on your left will move across the chasm, so step onto it to reach the other side.

Press the buttonthere and wait for the platform opposite of you to return.Walk to the edge and place a cubeon that platform. Press the button again to send it over toblock the water streams, then ride back on the other platform.

Press the button one last timeto block the water streams, then run along thenewly cleared path and climb over the cube. Take the zipline back to the center tostart the final puzzle.

Final Puzzle

After completing each of the lighthouse puzzles, you cantackle the final puzzle. Press the star button to bring a wooden platform to you, thenpress the button againand hop on. Go up the stairs and press the next button torotate the yellow platform. Cross over and use a cube to block the streams of water.

Follow the platform to the next islet andpress the button to rotate the other platform. Move across to the next platform and repeat. Press the second button toraise a wall and block water streamsacross the way.

Whether you block the streams of water and walk around them or you climb on top of the cube to get across, there’s no wrong way to bypassthe obstacles.

Head back across the yellow platform and to the left.Descend the slopeand run across the blue platforms. Press the button to send them across, thenbacktrack through all of the yellow platformsuntil you reach the first one on the right (the one with the now-raised red wall).

Circle around the slope behind the platform and press the button. Continue across the yellow platform, make a left, thenrun up the hilland face off against a couple waves of monsters. Once they’re defeated, press on to the exit andcollect your stamp!
