As repairs are underway in the other three biomes in the wake of an earthquake, Luisa’s options are limited to Doberkogel’s dungeons inDungeons of Hinterberg. In this region, the Giant Cavern is the second dungeon you’ll explore to climb the ladder and become a Master Slayer.
True to its name, the Giant Cavern features a vast space with very little combat but is packed with a headache-inducing puzzle that needs to be solved to complete and exit the dungeon. Your magic tools and a yellow cart you may move around will be central to figuring out this dungeon.

How To Complete The Giant Cavern
After navigating a labyrinthine path to the southeast of theMountain StationinDoberkogel, you’ll come across theportal leading to the Giant Cavern. As you enter, you’ll find acable carthat will transport you to asmall area blocking access to the main chamber.
In this section, you’ll immediatelyspot a yellow cart, which can bemoved along a straight pathand plays a crucial role in solving the dungeon’s puzzle. To get past the gate, push the cart a few paces forwardso it’s flanked by the two ledges.

With the cart bridging the gap between the two ledges, you’ll be able to reach the ledge on the left, where you candestroy some boulders blocking your pathwith yourWrecking Ball ability.
With the path cleared, head through the corridor, and you’ll make it to themain chamber, across the locked gate. On the gate’s opposite side, you’ll also find themechanism that unlocks it, allowing you to push the trolley into the main chamber.

This section is more complex, but you should start bymoving the trolley to the other end’s wall. On the platform to the right, you canclimb a ladderand thenmake your way to the handholdsin front. Use them to climb to thetopmost ledge, where you can find achest holding the Resonant Pads 1.
Now, using the same handholds, descend to the yellow cartyou placed below andhop onto the opposite platform. Across the corridor is amechanism operating a rotating bridge and a ladderheld up by black goo. Use the Ball and Chain ability to destroy the black goo, dropping the ladder and unlocking a shortcut to the rotating bridge.

Before operating the bridge, however, you can work around a ledge on the right which leads to a chest containing theGiant Cavern’s commemorative coin. Return to the mechanism, androtate the bridge to reach a yellow minecart. Ride it, and you’ll return to the main cavern.
Afterward, use the shortcut you unlocked to quicklyrotate the bridge back to its original position, and leave the minecart you just rode as it is in the main chamber.

However, you will have to fight two waves of enemies before you are able to climb the ladder.
For the next part, pull the large trolley so it’s adjoining the ladder on the right, enabling you to reach the platform on the other side. This will take you to an area with a chest containing apiece of body armorand another minecart that also leads to the main chamber.

After riding the minecart, you shouldpull the large trolley once more, placing it next to the destructible boulders. Ride the same minecart back to the previous platform and place aWreaking Ball on top of the trolley. Detonate it to clear the boulders, opening up the sloped path.
With the path cleared, it’s time to hustle up the slope. As you emerge in the area above, you’ll find a mechanism, but before you’re able to interact with it, you’ll facetwo waves of enemies. Once you’ve dispatched them, you can push the button, whichlowers an elevator connected to the rotating bridge.

This elevator leads to theStamp Station, achest holding a defense-boosting charm, and theGiant Cavern’s escape portal. To reach it, hop into the nearby cable car, which will drop you right where you left off with the first minecart. Then ride that minecart back to the bridge, and take the elevator up to exit the dungeon.
