Ms. Bumbleflower is one of the commanders released inMagic: The Gathering’sBloomburrow set. It was the face of the Peace Offering preconstructed Commander deck, but it stands as a solid commander in its own right.
Ms. Bumbeflower is a bant (green/white/blue) commander that wants you to be casting spells to draw you cards and giving +1/+1 counters onto your creatures. You do have to allow your opponents to draw cards as well, but with how explosive the deck can be, this is hardly a downside. If anything, it’s beneficial since it will make your opponents want to keep you in the game so they can keep drawing cards.

The decklist consists of25 creatures, 11 sorceries, 17 instants, six artifacts, seven enchantments,and33 lands. Nearly all the creatures care about either having counters on them or drawing cards, something the rest of the cards all enable.
Key Cards
Ms. Bumbleflower
Ms. Bumblefloweriswhat makes the deck work. You want tobe casting a ton of spellsto trigger Ms. Bumbeflower’s effect multiple times a turn to spread +1/+1 counters to all your creatures. You’ll even get extra cards into your hand each second spell you cast.
Ms. Bumbleflower triggers whenever you cast a spell, not just on your turn. As such, instant spells cast during your opponents' turns will activate Ms. Bumbleflower as well.

Ms. Bumbefloweris a creature that you don’t want to be attacking with in combat if it’ll be put in danger. Youwant it to stick to the battlefieldso you can keep taking advantage of its effects. However, if you put +1/+1 counters on it, other cards make attacking with Ms. Bumbleflower a better idea, such asHerald of Secret Streamswhich will make it unblockable.
Simic Ascendancy
While there are a few alternate win conditions in the deck,Simic Ascendancyis thebest and most consistent way to win. Since you will be spreading so many +1/+1 counters across your creatures, and so long as Simic Ascendancy sticks around for twenty counters being put on creatures, you will win the game.
Since Simic Ascendancy is so easy to cast, it can start getting counters on it right away. Itwill be a prime target for removalif it ever gets too close to twenty counters, but enchantment removal is much rarer to come by compared to creature removal, so it’ll have good odds of sticking around.

Consecrated Sphinx
Consecrated Sphinxturns the cards you haveto make your opponents draw when casting spells into two cards in your hand. It helps you dig deeper into your deck and push you closer to your key cards. It’sespecially important for drawing into your alternate win conditions.
Thanks to having access to green, you can ramp easily to verify you canbring down Consecrated Sphinx early in the game. Many of your spells draw you cards, which when combined with Consecrated Sphinx and Ms. Bumblefower, can fill your whole hand with cards to work with.

Since you draw a ton of cards with Consecrated Sphinx, running cards that give you no maximum hand size likeDecanter of Endless Water, Wizard Class, andReliquary Toweris important so you won’t have to discard them.
Kami Of Whispered Hopes
Kami of Whispered Hopesis going to be the best mana dork available in your deck. Itcan tap to add one mana of any color equal to its power, which can become very large if you put counters on it with Ms. Bumbleflower’s ability.
It’s great as a mana rock, but Kami of Whispered Hopes alsogives an extra +1/+1 counterwhen you put one on a creature, including itself. Just one +1/+1 counter being put on Kami will allow it to start tapping for three mana, immediately able to refund the mana you used to cast it once you can tap with it.

Danny Pink
With Ms. Bumbleflower, you will be spreading +1/+1 counters to a ton of different creatures, andDanny Pinkwill turn those counters into draw power. Thesetwo combined essentially make it so every spell immediately replaces itself in the hand by drawing a card to replace it(so long as you’re putting a counter on a different creature each effect for that turn).
Danny Pink also hasmentor, so if it has high power it can put +1/+1 counters on other creatures whenever it attacks. It doesn’t have great base stats, butwith +1/+1 counters being put on Danny Pink, its mentor effect becomes much more relevant.
How To Play The Deck
While there is anatural group hug element to the deckthanks to Ms. Bumbleflower, the deck plays more like a spellslinger deck. You want to be casting a ton of spells to trigger Ms. Bumbleflower’s effect, which in turn takes advantage of cards that care about having +1/+1 counters put on creatures.
You can get extra counters on your creatures thanks to cards likeBranching Evolution, Hardened Scales, andKami of Whispered Hopes.Sovereign Okinec Ahauis a constant source of counter-doubling when it attacks as well.
Theboard wipes included in the deck are all generally one-sided, as they will not affect creatures with counters on them (something all your creatures will want to have).Damning Verdictdestroys each creature without a counter andWave Goodbyereturns any creatures with +1/+1 counters to the hand. Wave Goodbye can be especially strong if a lot of creatures return to the hand, as your opponents will be forced to discard a lot of them due to the hand size limit.
Themain win conditionsof the deck are either bycombat with creatures with a ton of +1/+1 countersorwinning with an alternate win condition. BothTwenty-Toed ToadandSimic Ascendancywill win you the game if they have twenty counters on them, andTriskaidekaphilewins when you have exactly 13 cards in your hand, something easily done with how many cards you draw.
One of theweaknesses of the deckis that for it to work, you have to be giving your opponents cards. No matter what spell you cast, if Ms. Bumbleflower is on the battlefield you have to make an opponent draw a card. This can potentially get them to their win conditions, somake sure you are giving the cards to the player most behindrather than someone who is close to winning.
