Not only is she one of the most mobile characters, but also has the ability to confuse the enemy team with her cloak and easily get to the back line. If used correctly, Kyps can easily change the outcome of the battle in your favor.
Kyps Abilities, Explained
When you first take a look at Kyps' kit, she might seem a bit underwhelming since she only has one pistol as a weapon, which shoots at short bursts and runs out of ammo quite fast. However,her abilities are the main part of her kit and you’ll mostly be relying on themto get value from her:
Surveillance Trap
Active Ability
You can throw this trap in the direction you’re looking and it’ll attach itself to a wall or the floor. Whenan enemy comes within the radius of this trap, it gets triggered and reveals their aura.
The trap can stay between different rounds as long as you’re playing Kyps and it can beinteracted with once it has revealed the enemiesto get charges for Disruption Grenade.
Disruption Grenade
This can be thrown at an enemy toprevent their ability usage for a few secondsand damage their shields, if they have any. It also resets your dodge cooldown.

Whenever Kyps performs a dodge action, she becomes invisible for a few seconds andcan’t be tracked by any tracking ability.
Lookout
If you’re defeated, your entire team cansee the aura of the enemy who defeated youfor a few seconds.
If you don’t use Kyps as the main character, she canprovide you with a reload speed bonusafter the first use.
