With over 50 games to entertain and terrorise your friend group, a significant amount of time ends up dedicated to debating over which specific games to play next - some people might be in the mood for an art game, where others only remember that one game with the aliens they played two years back, what was it called again?
And so on. The Jackbox Megapicker is a great tool that streamlines game night and effectively turns your potentially unwieldy Jackbox collection into a simple, manageable launcher.

What Is The Jackbox Megapicker?
The Jackbox Megapicker is a simple tool that can beadded to your Steam account for free. The Megapicker isonlyavailable on Steam - it is not available on other platforms or consoles.
When launched, it willscan your Steam directoriesand present you with your collection of games, along with any you have yet to purchase.
You can use theAdvanced Filterson the right of the screen to make the appprioritise the packs that you own. This will put unpurchased packs at the bottom of the library.
How To Use The Jackbox Megapicker
Once the app is launched, you canclick on the Library tabon the left side of the screen to reach a full list of your Jackbox games. This can befiltereddown depending on what you’re looking for - there are filters for the number of players, game genres, and even game duration.
Clicking on a game will launch it directly, allowing you to skip the usual menus within the relevant Jackbox Party Pack program - overall, this makes the process far smoother. It’s worth pointing out that the only thing this does isopen up the relevant party pack, and doesn’t allow you to play the game from the Megapicker itself. TheParty Packs must be installedand updated to work with the Megapicker.
If you own a Party Pack but do not have it installed, attempting to launch a game within the pack will bring up theinstallation dialoguewindowinstantly. This makes the Megapicker function also as a handyinstallation launcher. The same can be said for packs you haven’t purchased - these will be easily viewed and then purchased from the launcher’s interface.
