InJourney To The Savage Planet, you are an explorer at alien planet AR-Y 26. You’ve been left with no tools except a 3D-printer to print everything you’ll need. For much of this journey, you will discover ways to navigate the planet and unlock recipes for tools and a weapon to help you survive.
As you go along, you’ll begin unlocking trophies/achievements for various things, from stepping foot on the planet for the first time, to kicking ten Pufferbirds within 45 seconds. Unlike Kindred, we’ve arrived with everything you need to know to unlock all the trophies/achievements and become the best explorer.
All Main Game Trophies/Achievements In Journey To The Savage Planet
Journey To The Savage Planet Has A Total of51 trophies/achievementsfor you to unlock as you explore the planet of AR-Y 26.
Seven of those will be unlocked naturally as you progress through the story and can’t be missed. You’ll start your journey, defeat bosses along the way, and then eventually go home.
How To Unlock
Colonizer
Set foot on AR-Y 26 for the first time. I guess that counts as an achievement?
Successfully ended the bloodline of an endangered alien species! Congratulations!
Teratomo Defeated
Teratomo is no mo'. Now go take a shower. You smell bad. Very bad.
Enter The Spire. I’ve got a bad feeling about this…
Teratomo? Teratomo!
Re-emerged onto AR-Y 26 after killing Teratomo. Back to work, I suppose!
Home At Last
You’ve returned home after fully completing your mission! You’re a hero!
All Cooperative Mode Trophies/Achievements In Journey To The Savage Planet
Why explore alonewhen you can bring a friend with you? Or at least someone you can tolerate.
These trophies/achievementscan only be unlockedwhile playing in Cooperative Mode with a friend. Just try not to get each other killed.
What Would You Two Maniacs Like To Do First?
Start a Co-Op game. It must be nice having friends…
In the Main Menu,select Cooperative Mode and then invite your friend to join. Keep in mind that crossplay is not supported,so you will both need to be using the same system.
Don’t Cross the Streams
Slapped your Co-Op partner. I’m sure you had a good reason for it.
Walk up to your partner andslap them like you would any of the other creaturesin the game.
We came, We Saw, We Kicked Its Ass
Crack Cragclaw with a Co-Op partner. Teamwork really does make the dream work.
Defeat the Cragclawboss with your partner.
A Little Help, Please
Revive your Co-Op partner. Let’s hope they learn to start pulling their weight.
If your partner falls, no worries!You can revive thembefore they die and get re-printed!
All Old Game Minus Trophies/Achievements In Journey To The Savage Planet
Old Game Minus is thehard mode version of the game. Instead of unlimited lives, you only get three in the beginning (but you canfind an extra life in each biome).
Additionally, there’s a timer at the bottom of the screen, but that’s mainly there if you intend to speedrun the game.There are only two trophies/achievements for Old Game Minus mode.
Old Game Master
Assert your independence and beat Old Game Minus entirely in singleplayer.
Finish the mission and return homealonein Old Game Minus mode.
Old Game Alliance
Tolerate another person long enough to beat Old Game Minus entirely in coop.
Finish the mission and return homewith a partnerin Old Game Minus mode.
All Planet DL-C1 Trophies/Achievements In Journey To The Savage Planet
Eventually, as you’re exploring, you’ll receive word that there’strouble on planet DL-C1and be asked to go there andinvestigate the problem. Once you get there, you learn that the whole area has been taken over by a company called Vyper. Specifically,someone named Kronus.
Jewel of the Bargain Bin
Complete the entire DL-C1 Kindex.
Scan all the flora and fauna on DL-C1until your Kindex for that planet is full.
Power Underwhelming
Craft all the new upgrades unlocked via exploration of DL-C1.
As you start your investigations on DL-C1, you’ll discover new upgrades you can use.Craft each new upgrade unlocked on DL-C1.
Coastal Postal
Collect all the scattered postcards of DL-C1.
All over DL-C1 there are glowing,spinning holographic postcards. 22 of them, in fact.
Walking On Air
Fly through 12 unique gas rings without touching the ground.
On DL-C1,you’ll find purple gas ringsthat, when you go through them, boosts your jets.Fly through 12 different ringsin a row without touching the ground.
Part of a Complete Breakfast
Get covered in Tropical Pufferbird milk…
The Tropical Pufferbirds are filled with milk instead of blood and guts.Kill one of them point-blank and you’ll get covered.
All Other Trophies/Achievements In Journey To The Savage Planet
The remaining trophies/achievements can beunlocked throughout the rest of the main game. Many of them are for collectibles, things you may do to creatures, scanning the flora and fauna, and more.
In the table below we’velisted each one and how you may unlock them.
For Playstation players, if you unlock every trophy in the game, you will also unlock thePlatinum Trophy called The Final Frontier.
He Slimed Me
Got covered in ooey-gooey alien guts.
If you kill an alien at close range, you’ll get covered in their guts.This is easily achievable with a Pufferbird.
Flipping' the bird
Get launched by a Pufferbird, then kill it.
First, you’ll need toantagonize a Pufferbird by kicking it. It will ram into you and launch you across the room. Then, kill it.
I Feel The Same. I Think?
Unlock the Alien Teleportation System. Beats walking!
Unlock thefirst Alien Teleportation System portalyou come to at the Towering Crystals.
Phone Home.
Play a video message from Kindred. Guess they didn’t forget about us!
The video messages from Kindredwill auto-play on the screens in the Javelin. To unlock this trophy/achievement, all you have to do is go back to the Javelin at any given andwatch the video or play it on the computer.
Aaaaaaand we’re back
You died! Now you’re not dead! Huh. Weird!
When you die,a clone of you is created and appears back at the Javelin. The first time this happens, you’ll unlock this trophy/achievement.
Cannibals
Bait 5 creatures into attacking each other. Divide and conquer: Classic strat.
You can do this by throwing some of the Grob, which is used as bait, onto one creature,which should trigger another creature to attack it.
Little Shop of Horrors
Fed 5 Pufferbirds to a Meat Vortex. Yes, it blends!
You can either do this byusing Grob to lure themto a Meat Vortex, orkick them into one that’s higher up.
The $600 Man
3D-print all the 3D-printables! After that, go ahead and 3D-print yourself a gold star!
As you discover new resources, recipes are created in your 3D-printer. Once you’vesuccessfully 3D-printed everything there is to 3D-print, you’ll unlock this trophy/achievement.
Stronger, Faster, Probably Poisonous
Recklessly and irresponsibly eat every Orange Goo on AR-Y 26.
When you eat the Orange Goo on the planet,you gain more health and staminaand level up, but too much can also affect your overall health. To achieve this trophy/achievement,simply ignore the risks and eat every Orange Goo on the planet.
Return To Sender
Retrieved your own loot box. Death is no excuse for leaving behind Kindred property.
When you get killed,you’ll drop all the loot you’ve collected up to that point. Simply go back to where you died and retrieve your items.But try not to die again!
Ambidextrous
Use every left-hand tool in the game. Gotta hand it to you: You’re pretty handy.
Your main weapon is used by your right hand, but there are several items and toolsyou can use in your left hand, including Bait, Binding Bile, and more.Use every single left-hand tool in the gameto unlock this trophy/achievement.
It’s Not In The Game
Collect every obnoxious video ad on your computer.
Along with the video messages from Kindred,ads will also play on the screens inside the Javelin, and are then added to your computer.Collect every single one to unlock this trophy/achievement.
Your Friendly Neighbourhood…
Execute 10 consecutive grapples without touching the ground. You’re like some kind of arachnid-man.
To unlock this trophy/achievement,grapple between ten grapple pointsconsecutively without touching the ground.You will need master the art of jumping and turningwhile in the air to complete this task.
For Science!
Complete the first set of Science Experiements. Science: It’s not just for nerds!
The Science Experiments, once available,will be listed in your Journalwith your other missions.Complete the first full set of experimentsto unlock this trophy/achievement.
Deleted But Not Forgotten
Read all of the previous explorer’s emails. Kinda nosy if you ask me.
Open the computer andnavigate to the trash folder, on the bottom right. Here you’ll finddeleted emails from the previous explorerbefore you were given the job.
No Refunds
Finish the game in under 4 hours. See you at GDQ!
Speedrun the game, complete your mission, and return homein under four hours of game time!
Turdball Wizard
Consecutively bounce on 5 different Springy Egg Sacs. It’s like an ethically-iffy bouncy castle!
Bounce from one Springy Egg Sac to another,until you’ve bounched on five in a rowwithout touching the ground.
That’s all people really want to do…
Kick 10 Pufferbirds in 45 seconds. It’s why you bought the game. We get it.
Walk up to Pufferbirds and, using your slap/interact button, kick them!Do this ten times within 45 secondsto unlock this trophy/achievement.
Au-revoir Gopher!
Kill 5 Schnozos in 15 seconds. Moles ain’t gonna whack themselves.
You’ll first find Schnozosnear the Xerophilous Landing teleporter. They pop out of holes like whack-a-moles andshoot acid projectiles at you that do a lot of damage.Kill five of these in 15 secondsto unlock this trophy/achievement.
Scott Norwood in The Hizzy…
Kick 25 Pufferbirds and 25 Maroons. It’s okay. I don’t know who Scott Norwood is either.
Pufferbirds you’ll find all through the game. Maroons you’ll meet shortly after arriving at the Enigmatic Spire teleporter.Kill 25 of each (50 total)to unlock this trophy/achievement.
Stop Crapping On Me, Jessie
Got pooped on by a Skipper. That’s good luck, depending on who you ask. Not me. I think it’s gross.
You’ll first come across skippers in the Planetary Flotsam. They look like goldfish and hover above certain areas and just…let it go. Stand underneath one of themand get poopedon to unlock this trophy/achievement.
Screw This Noise
You’ve returned home without fully completing your mission. I’d start looking for new work.
If you return homewithout first completing your mission, you’ll unlock this trophy/achievement. Maybe exploring wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.
Botanist
Scan all the flora on AR-Y 26!
Using your scanner, scan all plants on the planet.There are 63 in total.
Zoologist
Scan all the creatures on AR-Y 26!
Using your scanner, scan all creatures on the planet.There are 37 in total.
Build It Up
Gather half the Alien Alloy on AR-Y 26. I’m half-impressed!
Gathering the Alien Alloy is how you will help repair your ship so you can eventually go home.Once you’ve collected half of what the planet has to offer, this trophy/achievement will unlock.
I Want To Go Home, Eventually.
Marked your first fuel pod. Momma, I’m coming home!
When you find a fuel pod to use for your ship,interact with it to mark itto unlock the trophy/achievement.
It’s Me. But Not Me. But Still Me.
Scan your own corpse. Best not to think about it too much…
When you die, a clone is created, leaving the dead body behind.Use your scanner to scan it one time.
I Come in Peace
Slap every alien creature at least once. I suppose that counts as “first contact”.
Use your interact button toslap each creature you encounter at least one time.
Shocking
Stun 5 creatures simultaneously with Shock Fruit. Stone cold.
Once you’ve crafted the upgrade to be able to handle shock fruit,use it to stun five creatures with it. Could be helpful in a fight.
Pinball Wizard
Kill 5 creatures with a single Charged Shot. Because aiming is for chumps!
You’ll first need to havecompleted the upgrade to your weapon. Charge it up and, using the charge shot,kill five creatures with that one shot.
The Answer is 42
Fully decrypt and watch the tower origin transmission.
To decrypt the tower origin transmission,you will need to have collected all ten of the Alien Tablets.
Who is Teratomo?
Collect and read every Alien Explorer Log.
Located in various, hidden spots all over the planet areExplorer Logs of Alien Species.When you find them,scan them with your scanner to collect the data.Once you’ve collected them all, you’ll unlock the trophy/achievement.
Kronus: Unplugged
Unplug Kronus and restore Kindred’s control of DL-C1.
To unplug Kronus,you’ll first need to survive the gauntlet he puts you throughand defeat his robots. Once you’ve defeated his attacks, an elevator will come up in front of Kronus.Take that down below to unplug Kronus.
