Crafting is an essential part of survival in the horror MMORPGOnce Human. You can gather all sorts of resources for crafting useful tools and items from the various areas in the region. The things you craft will be essential in your survival because the Stardust pollution has brought harsh environments and dangerous characters into the world.

As you progress to the more difficult areas of the map, you’ll find that plenty of items you need will require more materials that are difficult to obtain. One of these materials is acid, which is an essential part of several late game items such as Tungsten Ore, Aluminum Ore, and more.

Acid looted from defeated enemies in Once Human.

How To Get Acid From Enemies

The primary way of obtaining acid is fromdefeating monsters. There are plenty of areas in the region that are filled with all sorts of monstrous creatures called Deviants, andkilling them is a great way to farm acid.

As there are numerous areas crawling with these enemies, you’re able to spend time clearing each. After clearing the area, theDeviants will return after sometimeand you will be able to defeat them to farm more acid.

The Reverse Osmosis Purifier memetic in Once Human.

This is thefastest way to get the acidthat you need. That being said, there are ways to get multiple waves of enemies to defeat without having to explore neighborhoods and buildings:

You can find the locations of the different Workshop Defense events on your map. There are seven locations:Blackfell Oil Fields, Rippleby Market Workshop, Eastern Railway Junction, Refinery Pollution Point, Brewery Workshop, Sunshine Farm, and Furnace Lair.

How To Get More Acid From Enemies

Before you start heading out to hunt enemies for acid, you should firstgive yourself a buffthat will get defeated enemies to drop more acid. For that, you’ll needPreserved Deviated Chops.

This dish will give youHunter’s Luck for 1800 seconds. This is a buff that willincrease acid obtained by 50%when defeating Deviants.

This is relatively easy to craft because it only requiresmeat, peppercorn, and salt.

If you are going to be going on a lot of acid runs, it’s a good idea tostart a peppercorn farm.

The recipe for this dish can be obtained by unlocking theDishes III Memetic, which can be found under theLogistics tab. The dish can be crafted using anElectric Stoveor aKitchen Sets.

Peppercorn and peppercorn seeds can bepurchased from Lacey in Blackfell.

Preserved Deviated Chops willdecay over time. If not stored in a refrigerator, it willturn into spoiled food after 24 hours. Onlymake enough for your runs for the day, then keep the ingredients in storage for next time.

How To Make A Passive Acid Farm

Another way to get acid is bymaking a passive acid farm. This can be done by unlocking certain Memetics that will allow you to build the structures you need on your territory.

The passive acid farm will require you to haveaccess to Polluted Water. This means that you will need to set up base inan area with Stardust pollution.

For a complete passive acid farm setup, you will need the following:

Water Pump (For extracting)

Water Pump (For linking)

Water Storage

You will need your Water Pump to be setup toextract Polluted Watersomewhere in your territory. Then, link it to an Osmosis Water Purifierto have it turnPolluted Water into Impure Acid.

Take the created Impure Acid, thenplace it into a Brewing Barrelfor it to be converted to regular acid.

Use your Water Bucket to gather your Impure Acidand the other products of your Osmosis Water Purifier. This will ensure that you prevent clogging in your production process.

Use the connecting Water Pumpsto manage the flow of the water from each machine to the other.

With such a tedious setup, the passive acid farm isonly good for extra acidbecause productionusing this method is avery slow process.

How To Craft Acid

The next way you can make acid is faster than the Water Pump method, but slower than hunting Deviants. You can also craft acidif you have the Memetic Specialization for it.

Memetic Specializations arespecial abilities that you can gainfor every five levels that you get. The choices given to you at each level arecompletely unique to you, so there’s a chance you won’t get the specialization you’re targeting.

The specialization you need isSulfur Chemist. This will give you the ability tocraft acid using a Synthesis BenchwithSulfurand Energy Links.

The Synthesis Bench can be unlocked under theCrafting branchof your Memetics menu.

A better option is theAdvanced Synthesis Benchfurther down the same branch, because this will allow you toprocess two different stacks of items at the same time.

It costsfive Sulfur and 50 Energy Linksto craft one acid, and production takes five minutes. If you’re making a stack of 99 acid, you’ll need 495 Sulfur and 4950 Energy Links. This will takeeight hours and 15 minutes to complete.

Energy Links can be obtained byclearing dungeons, submitting commissions, and completing exploration tasks.

You can also get Energy Links by selling to Safe Zone vendors.SellingSilver IngotandGold Ingotis an especially lucrative way to get a lot of Energy Links from vendors.

Sulfur can be found bymining greenish rockslittered across the world.

Eight hours may seem like a long while to wait for 99 acid, but this is a quicker way to get acid in a passive manner andyou won’t need to live in a polluted areato do so.

That being said, there is a big chance that you won’t get the Sulfur Chemist specialization as an option. In that case, look for someone in your server who doesand strike a deal with them.

The unique Memetic Specialization options per player will encourage you tocooperate with other meta-humans.Look for a Hive member or a server residentwho has the specialization you need.

A great way that meta-humans have been doing this isposting inquiries using the World chat. You can see what deals are being offered there and you can also ask around easily for people you can hire.
