InStar Wars Outlaws, the best-case scenario is usually one where you aren’t seen by enemies and don’t have to fight. Sometimes, though, combat is unavoidable, either because of a story encounter or because your stealthy approach didn’t go according to plan. In those instances, it pays to have as many Bacta Vials for healing and grenades for crowd control as you can carry.
Your starting capacity of three each runs out very quickly, so chances are it won’t be long before you start looking for ways to increase your maximum. Here’s how to do so.
How To Unlock The Scoundrel’s Pouch
Despite sounding like a piece of equipment, theScoundrel’s Pouchactually counts as an Ability. It’s a permanent upgrade that you can craftafter completing the New Tricksmain quest. As soon as you have all the requisite materials, you cancraft the Scoundrel’s Pouchfrom the Mechanic’s Expert menu.
Crafting the Scoundrel’s Pouch requires the following:
Coarseweave and Robuma Leather are fairly easy to come by, though the latter isonly available on Toshara;you should be able to get enough of both easily simply by exploring and completing side objectives. If push comes to shove, you can alwayspurchase them from vendors.The Durafiber Fabric, though, is one-of-a-kind, and can only be found byraiding a Crimson Dawn Hideout.
Where To Find Durafiber Fabric
Follow the riverwest of Jaunta’s Hopeto find a Crimson Dawn hideout in the hills. Approach from the southwest to findcliffs that you can climb, giving you a ledge from which toleap acrossto the hideout. There are only a few guards; take them out quietly or blast them, thenuse your data spiketo override the door in the rock face.
The storeroom behind the door has several valuables, but the most important is thetreasure chest in the backcontaining the Durafiber Fabric. With it, you can craft theScoundrel’s Pouch, increasing your Bacta Vial and Grenade capacity by one each.
How To Unlock The Outlaw’s Pouch
Once you’ve made the Scoundrel’s Pouch, you canupgrade it one more timeby crafting theOutlaw’s Pouch. Don’t expect to just rush straight from one to the other, though - you won’t be able to get the key component until you cantravel between planets.
The Outlaw’s Pouch requires the following crafting materials:
Coarseweave and Polycarbonate are, again, both fairly common, though you may find thatother crafting projects compete for your Polycarbonate supply.The Elastic Durafiber Fabric will have to wait until you reachKijimi.
Where To find Elastic Durafiber Fabric
On theeast side of Kijimi Cityis a character called the Mysterious Merchant. To reach him, you’ll need togo west from the spaceportthenloop back through the Crimson Dawn District.He has several Charms for sale that can be useful, but his most important ware is theElastic Durafiber Fabric, which will allow you to complete the Outlaw’s Pouch.
The Elastic Durafiber Fabric costs 1400 credits - not exorbitant, but not exactly cheap either. You may need to carry out some quests or hustle some money at the Sabacc tables if you don’t have enough cash on hand.
Once you’ve crafted both the Scoundrel’s Pouch and the Outlaw’s Pouch, you’ll be able to carry a total offive Bacta Vials and Grenades.
