There’s a lot to do inPalworld, from catching your favorite creatures to defeating the Tower Bosses that stand in your way. The Sakurajima update expands the world of the Palpagos Islands to include new areas and challenges for you and your friends to conquer.

The Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig is a beast of a stronghold, but it’s possible to get there and raid the base for all it’s worth. It will take careful preparation and several tries, but you can definitely make it worth your while with patience. Here’s everything you need to know to reach the Oil Rig and loot it.

How To Reach The Oil Rig

The Oil Rig is a massivestronghold located in the middle of the ocean. You’ll need tofast travel to the Marsh Island Great Eagle Statueand head southeast.

If you look carefully, you can see the Oil Rig from the shoreline!

Getting there is tricky. You’ll want to avoid making an attempt until you’vereached at least level 50. You’ll also want to havebred Pals specificallydesigned to be speedy mounts. Pals likeJetragon, the Legendary Celestial Dragon, andFrostallion, Legendary Steed of Ice, are excellent choices.

However, you’ll want to take your chances with a swimming mount like theJormuntide Alpha BossorAzurobe, the Lady of the Lake. Swimming mounts are less likely to be discovered by the towers that shoot lasers at you from the rig.

You’ll want to make sure they have passive skills like Infinite Stamina or Runner to ensure they move quickly.

Once you have your mount andyour best gear equipped, make your way to Marsh Island and head out.Stick to one side of the rigand race to it. If you’re spotted and targeted by a laser, sprint away from it while ascending or descending.

If all else fails, dismount and land in the water. Prioritize your health and saving your Pals. Theanti-air cannons can triggereven if you swap to a swimming mount, sobe prepared to adjust your strategyon the fly.

There are severalramps along the bottom of the rigthat allow for easy access, but you’ll have to reach them. you may also try to climb the legs of the rig if you have enough stamina.

Whatever you do,do not try to fly up to the riguntil you’re right up on it.

Turrets and lasers are no joke, and they canquickly defeat even the strongest of Pals.

How To Destroy The Towers And Turrets

There are many challenges on the Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig, includinglevel 55 human enemies and powerful Palsthat are relentless in their pursuit of invaders. You’ll have several priorities when you first reach the rig:destroy the artillery and stay out of sight.

While you’ll likely get caught at some point, you cancling to the edgesto remain hidden. There are multiple anti-air laser cannons and dozens of turrets posted around the stronghold. The only way to disable them is tointeract with the consoles attached to the machine, so you’ll need to get up close.

Save your ammo! Thecannons and turrets cannot be damagedby any weapons.

If you can sneak around, you candisable many of them without being spotted. If you’re caught, throw your Pal to provide coverwhile you work.

Once destroyed, thecannons and turrets will remain disabled for some time, so do what you can to make it easier for your next attempt or for any of your guild members to follow after you.

Where To Find The Large Oil Rig Chest

The main appeal of the Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig Stronghold in Palworld is the large chest that spawns. While there areplenty of smaller chests that appearinside storage crates, crevices, and tents, there is only one large supply crateper raid.

This crate will respawn after a given amount of time once you loot it.

This chest holds a bounty of resources, includingAncient Civilization Cores, Crude Oil, Schematics, and large Lotus materialsfor elixirs. There are four places you’re able to find the chest, so keep an eye out:

Once you have your treasure, flee the oil rig. you may always come back later, butmake sure to make it out alive with your prizeso it’s not lost. You can alsocatch any of the Pals deployed at the oil rigto add them to your collection, though make sure it won’t come at the cost of your life.
