It’s the height of summer and time to celebrate the Moonfire Faire festival inFinal Fantasy 14. This festival is a celebration that commemorates a time when Limsa Lominsa was threatened by bombs, and you’re able to begin the event’s quest by heading to that very city-state in-game.
This event runs from today, Jul 08, 2025 until Monday, 27 June 2025 at 14:59 (GMT), and once this period is over, you will not be able to take or complete the relevant quest. Make sure you’re getting this done before the 26th if you want this unique emote!
Fire Red, Beast Green Quest Walkthrough
To begin this year’s Moonfire Faire quest, you’ll need to head to theLimsa Lominsa Upper Decksand speak toMayaru Moyaru(X:11.5, Y:13.8).
You will need to have at leastone class at level 30to begin this quest.
After starting the quest, you’ll be directed toCosta Del Sol, which is found in Eastern La Noscea. The NPC you must speak to isHaermaga(X:36.1, Y:26.7) on the island to the northeast of the Aetheryte. After speaking to him and viewing the cutscene, head to the northwest and speak to theTerrified Tourist(X:35.1, Y:25.2) and theSweaty Guest(X:36.8, Y:26.4). Then, interact with theglowing spoton the ground.
After the cutscene, head to the west side of the island and talk to theCavorting Cactuar(X:35.3, Y:27.3) to complete the quest and earn the Uchiwasshoi emote.
Festival Fan Frenzy Quest Walkthrough
After completing Fire Red, Beast Green, you’ll be able to take this quest on byspeaking withBeaudefoinright after.
This quest involvesfinding Cavorting Cactuarsandcalming them down with the Uchiwasshoi emotethat you earned in the previous quest. There are two to be found:
With both cactuars in tow, return to the island and hand them over to P’obyano (X:35.3, Y:27.4). After the cutscene return to Haermaga to complete the quest.
Completing Festival Fan Frenzy will earn you theSummer’s Biggest Fan achievementandopen up the Moonfire Faire Vendor’s shop, where you can purchase Tracers, Sparklers, and other firework items, as well as the newBouncing Bomb Balloontabletop furniture item.
Thejumping puzzle apparatusthat is temporarily available in Eastern La Noscea will provide no rewards for completion.
