Resources are extremely limited in the war-torn trenches ofConscript. You’ll be left to scramble for bullets and medical supplies as the opposing forces continue their ruthless assault. While it may seem like hope is completely lost, there is one silver lining to this whirlpool of chaos.

At the beginning of the second chapter, you’ll find a locked cage containing a pigeon. Opening the Coop Cage and using the pigeon inside to call for help is your last chance at survival. However, you won’t find the Coop Key on any of the dozens of bodies littering the battlefield.

How To Get The Trench Torch

Getting the Trench Torch makes it much easier to obtain the Coop Key. To get to the Trench Troch, start by headingall the way east in the Support Trench.Use the Trench Key to open the Trench Throughfare andcontinue into the Reserve Trench East area.

After entering the Reserve Trench East area, run straight east andenter the door leading to the Emergency Control Room.Take theexit in the northeast corner of this room, then run all the way north in this new area.Enter the room at the end of this halland venture down the ladder in this room.

In this underground area,head south, take a left, then go northtowards the light. You’ll findthe Trench Torch on a corpsein the corner. You canequip the Trench Torch from the item menuand use it to illuminate dark areas.

The Trench Torch hasa limited battery life.You canrestore battery life with Torch Batteries, which can be purchased from the Merchant.

How To Get The Coop Key

Head into the Mess Hall, an area west of the Dump where the chapter began. Inside the Mess Hall,go behind the counter at the center of the roomand destroy the barrel there. Push the nearby crate out of the way andtake the ladder down to the underground area.

This area is extremely dark, soequip your Trench Torch.Head south and destroy the wooden door,use melee weaponsto conserve ammo. Continuesouth,go right,andpush the mine cartout of the way.

Keep following this path, destroying any doors in your way, and eventually you’ll reach a dead end. This room with a lit candle has theCoop Key in the bottom right cornerof the room.

After picking up the Coop Key, thisarea will be flooded with enemies.
