A persistent feeling of hopelessness lingers along the battlefield inConscript.Finding a helping hand in this wasteland is nearly impossible, and the opposition is completely unwilling to show mercy. However, when a German soldier reaches out to Andre for help, it’s difficult not to sympathize with their struggle.
At the start of the third chapter, you can find a German prisoner begging desperately for help. The prisoner wants you to find a photograph they lost while on the road. While this is definitely a risky task to complete, the reward is well worth the trouble, especially if you’re low on supplies.

How To Get The Trench Tool
Before you can get the photograph,you’ll need the Trench Tool.Start byheading south of the Cottagewhere you begin the third chapter. Continue heading southuntil you reach the End of the Roadarea.
You’ll know if you’re in the right place when youfind a fellow soldieroverlooking a pile of corpses. Go through the house in the southwest cornerof this area to reach the Settlement area to the west. Enterthe Shack in the northwest cornerof the Settlement.

In the Shack,push the bookshelf out of the wayto gain access to the shack’s basement. Down in the basement,push another bookshelfto reach a room full of lockers.Inside the locker on the leftside is the Trench Tool.
When you attempt to leave the Shack,something will block the front door.You’ll only be able to leave after briefly returning to the basement, buttwo enemies will break into the Shack.

How To Get The Prisoner’s Photograph
Go to the River area, north of the Wasteland. Once there,walk around the wooden fence to the rightand enter the destroyed building.Use the Trench Toolon the Wood Boards facing the river.
Jump down into the river, then head west. Destroy the wooden barrier here andhead inside the Cave.

Push the box in the northeast cornerof the Cave to find the Photograph on the ground. Return this Photograph to the prisoner, and you’ll berewarded with 30 cigarettes.
