Through the different seasons, many shotguns come and go but few become the most preferred ones, such as the Thunder Shotgun.
Fortnite Reload has re-introduced the Thunder Shotgun to the game. It’s a beloved two-shot firing, a high-damage shotgun that can deal up to 118 damage. For primary shotgun users out there, this would be an ideal addition to the loadout, and fortunately, it’s super easy to find.
Where To Find The Thunder Shotgun
Before you jump into the game and look for the Thunder Shotgun,verify you have enabled Fortnite Reload. The weapon has been exclusively re-introduced to the fast-paced and shorter version of the battle royale.
In the game, you canland anywhere at a hot spotand find the shotgun,as it’s a random drop found in most chests. Simply open one, and you’re likely to find a gray, green, or blue variant of the gun. To find a Legendary one, you may need to look for Mythic chests or Supply Drops.
Do note thatit’s ideal to carry at least a blue (Rare) or purple (Super Rare) versionof the Thunder Shotgun. These deal 106 and 112 damage, respectively. If you’re super lucky, you might stumble across the Legendary variant that inflicts an impressive 118 damage.
If you’re new to the game, the shotgun may feel a little slower than usual. Simplykeep something like the Twin Mag SMG as a backupshort-range option in case the Thunder Shotgun feels too unreliable.
