Encountered and befriended early inWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s questing experience, Taivan, the good-natured oddball bakar of the Maruuk Centaur, quickly became a fan-favorite character. In season four of the expansion, this huge puppy became available to players as a loyal mount.
If you want to bring Taivan along on your adventures, you simply need to complete the A World Awoken meta-achievement. Upon doing so, you will receive the Good Boy’s Leash item, which will teach you how to summon this mountain of muscle and fluff.
A World Awoken Meta-Achievement
As a meta-achievement,A World Awokenrequires the completion of several smaller achievements to complete it itself. The smaller achievements that need to be completed in order to obtain Taivan consist of activities and content thatspan the entirety of the Dragonflight expansionand its setting, the Dragon Isles.
The smaller achievements can be organized into three categories. These are achievements relating toraids and dungeons, those related toquests and reputation, and those related toexploration.

The Raid And Dungeon Achievements
There are four achievements within A World Awoken related to the dungeons and raids of the Dragonflight expansion.
Aberrus, The Shadowed Crucible
TheAberrus, the Shadowed Crucible achievementis a straightforward one to complete. All you need to do isdefeat all nine bossesof the eponymous raid located in Zaralek Cavern, beneath the Dragon Isles, on any difficulty.
Amirdrassil, The Dream’s Hope
To complete theAmirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope achievement, you only need todefeat all nine bossesof the selfsame raid, located in the Emerald Dream of the Dragon Isles, on any difficulty.
Vault Of The Incarnates
TheVault of the Incarnates achievementsimply requires you todefeat all eight bossesof Dragonflight’s debut raid on any difficulty to complete it.
Myths Of The Dragonflight Dungeons
Myths of the Dragonflight Dungeonsis the only achievement related to the dungeons of the Dragon Isles. All you need to do is complete each of the8 dungeons on the mythic or mythic+ difficulties.

The Quest And Reputation Achievements
Four of the smaller achievements involve questing with and gaining a reputation among the denizens of the Dragon Isles.
Dragon Quests
For theDragon Quests achievement, you need to complete thevarious side story questlinesof the Dragon Isles. These storylines will allow you to aid the blue dragonflight, the dragonkin rebels, the tauren of the Windtotem Tribe, the Timewalkers at Eon’s Fringe, the paladins of the Tyr’s Guard, and the titanic watchers of Tyr.
These questlines give their own rewards upon completing them, like titles and transmog appearances.
Friend Of The Dragon Isles
Friend of the Dragon Islesis an achievement tied to both reputation and questing. To achieve it, you need tocomplete the renown questlinesfrom the four main factions of the Dragon Isles.
These questlines are all about stories involving the Dragonscale Expedition, Iskaara Tuskarr, Maruuk Centaur, and Valdrakken Accord, and are locked behind certain levels of renown with them.
Loremaster Of The Dragon Isles
Loremaster of the Dragon Islesinvolves thequests of each of the four leveling zonesof the Dragon Isles. Each zone (Azure Span, Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, and Thaldraszus) has two smaller achievements tied to them that are required to complete this Loremaster achievement.
Each zone has one achievement requiring thecompletion of the main storyline, and one requiring thecompletion of all side storylinesin each respective zone.
Oh My God, They Were Clutchmates
To complete theOh My God, They Were Clutchmates achievement, you need tomax out your reputation and renownwith the various factions and important individuals of the Dragon Isles. These include the major renowned factions like the Loamm Niffen, minor factions like the Winterpelt Furbolg, and influential characters like Sabellian and Wrathion.
The Exploration Achievements
The final group of achievements needed to claim your friendly bakar mount are all related to exploring the various zones of the Dragon Isles.
Across The Isles
To completeAcross the Isles, you will need tocomplete various smaller achievementsthat all involve theworld events of the Dragon Isles. Each major renowned faction of the isles has different world events related to them, and they are scattered throughout the different zones.
Completing this achievement will give you the Stormtouched Bruffalon mount.
Dragon Isles Pathfinder
TheDragon Isles Pathfinder achievementis a meta-achievement comprised of both exploration and questing achievements. These achievements include themain story questsof the Dragon Isles' four leveling zones and Zaralek Cavern, as well asexploring the zones of the Isles and the Emerald Dream.
Completing this achievement allows you to old-school fly in the Dragon Isles.
Dream On
To completeDream On, you need to basicallyconquer the Emerald Dream zone. To do so, you must participate in the world events found there, increase your reputation with the Dream Wardens faction, complete the zone’s quest, and explore this verdant plane.
Upon completing Dream On, you will recieve the “of the Emerald Dream” title.
Now THIS Is Dragon Racing!
Now THIS is Dragon Racing!is the only achievement involving dragon riding racing needed for A World Awoken. To complete it, you need tocomplete every dragonriding racein each of the Dragon Isles' zones, as well asfind every dragonriding glyphin each zone.
Completing this achievement will reward you with the black scales customization for your Grotto Netherwing Drake mount.
Que Zara(lek), Zara(lek)
TheQue Zara(lek), Zara(lek) achievementrequires you tomaster the zone of Zaralek Cavernto complete it. To do so, you must aid the Loam Niffen, quest through the cavern, participate in its world events, and explore every nook and cranny of it.
You Know How To Reach Me
To completeYou Know How to Reach Me, you need tothoroughly familiarize yourself with the Forbidden Reachzone. To do so, you will have to explore it and delve into its secrets, fight the foes found there, and dive into the Zskera Vaults.
Completing You Know How to Reach Me will award you with the title, “The Forbidden”.
