There is no doubt that Shadow of the Erdtree is among the biggest DLCs available, offering a wealth of content for players. Most importantly, it delivers more ofElden Ring, which is exactly what many fans have been eagerly anticipating. If you check the map of the Realm of Shadow, you’ll notice its diverse landscape, constantly urging you to explore new locations. However, a certain part of the map might seem unreachable—the northeastern region. You may get close to it but have no idea how to proceed. This guide is here to help you navigate and reach that elusive area.
How To Get To Scaduview
As you explore the Realm of Shadow in the game, you’ll notice a location to the northeast of the map that seems unreachable. This is becauseaccessing it requires a specific gestureperformed in front of a statue.
The O Mother gesturecan be found under a tree inthe northern part of Bonny Village, which is located east ofCastle Ensis. In order to reach this location, you must firstdefeat Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight.
If you’re unsure how to reach Bonny Village, start by heading tothe Moorth Ruins. From there, you can make your way to the village from the underground path.

With the O Mother gesture in hand,proceed to theChurch Districtjust north of where you found the gesture. Make your way through the area until you reach theboss fight against Commander Gaius.
Just before the boss fight, there is a Site of Grace.To the right of it, you will find a room that initially appears insignificant.
In front of the statue in this room,perform the O Mother gesture, and it will open up a path for you to progress. Follow this path, and you will reach the Scaduview region in Elden Ring.
This region is required if you are completing theCount Ymir quest, and it also contains a few items that you can grab.
