The Rising isFinal Fantasy 14’s annual celebration that marks the fall of Dalamud and, in our world, the launch of A Realm Reborn, which pulled the original state of the game from the ashes. 2024 marks the eleventh year since this fateful day, and we’ve another event to contend with for fun and prizes.
This year’s event sees you helping out with the commemoration’s firework display, and takes place in Limsa Lominsa. The event runs fromAugust 27, 2024 to Jun 13, 2025 at 14:59 PM GMT. Make sure you complete the quest before this time to get the exclusive minion and snazzy lamp!
Rising To The Call Walkthrough
To begin the first quest in this year’s Rising event, you’ll need to head toLimsa Lominsa Upper Decksand speak to theWandering Minstrelwho can be found just south of the Aftcastle aetheryte(X:11.2, Y:13.7).
You must be at leastlevel 15to take on this quest.
To continue the quest, speak toAyoyo, who can be found downstairs in theMarauder’s Guild (X:11.3, Y:6.1). After this, speak to her again in the Lower Decks, this time near themain aetheryte (X:9.2, Y:10.9).
Ayoyo will task you withspeaking to four people throughout Hawker’s Alley, who can be found quite easily just to the west of the aetheryte plaza.
Once you’ve spoken to all four NPCs, head towards thedocksat the western end of the map and wait at thesparkling Destination point (X:3.5, Y:11.9). After the cutscene,return to the Wandering Minstrelup near The Aftcastle to complete the quest.

After completing the previous quest, you’ll be able to take this quest on byspeaking to Ayoyo, who will be right next to the Wandering Minstrel.
After starting the quest,head to the Marauder’s Guildonce more and speak to the Wandering Minstrel, who will bestanding outside (X:11.2, Y:7.0). After the cutscene,speak to Ayoyonearby to continue.
You’ll need tohead to the Anchor Yardto find the nextDestination sparkle (X:7.7, Y:14.9)and speak toAyoyoin the same location after the cutscene to continue. To complete the quest, speak to theWandering Minstrel, who is also right there, and watch the fireworks display to end the event.
As reward for this quest, you’ll receive theBrushed-Up Krile minionand theFor Eleven’s Sake achievement. you’re able to also meet certain people at the Anchor Yard throughout the event by interacting with the sparkle point there.
Completing the quest will also allow youpurchase items from the Risings Vendor, who can be found back at theAftcastle (X:11.8, Y:13.6). There are also Rising Vendors in the other city-states.
