During the summer season, Valen will throw you a curveball with a request for Tea Leaves. Valen isn’t the only one who needs these leaves, though. You’ll use them to brew a variety of beverages, perfect for yourself or as gifts for the townsfolk. Here’s how to get and use Tea Leaves in Fields of Mistria.

How To Get Tea Leaves
Tea Leaves is asummer cropyou can grow and harvest, but you’llneed Tea Seedsto get started. Once you plant the seeds, give themfive in-game daysto mature. After your first harvest, the plants willconsistently yield Tea Leaves every three daysas long as you keep themwell-watered.
How To Upgrade The General Store
to get Tea Seeds, however, you’ll need toupgrade the general storein the main town. Upgrading the general store is a story quest you’ll pick up afterrepairing the Millandbreaking the Water Sealon the twentieth floor of the Mines.
After these prerequisites have been taken care of, you’ll receive the quest the following day. Meet Adeline inside the general store, and she’ll want you tocollect 300 Wood, 500 Stone, 5 Copper Ingots,and5 Iron Ingotsto initiate the upgrade.
Once the general store is upgraded, you canpurchase Tea Seeds for 300 Tesserae, but be warned; it’s only in stock during summer.
How To Use Tea Leaves
You’ve kept Valen waiting long enough, and now that your stockpile of Tea Leaves is growing, it’s time to cash in on your hard work. You can now turn in Valen’s request toearn 270 Tesserae and some renown. Tea Leaves also fetch aselling price of 135 Tesserae, but you’ll get the most value by using them to brew a multitude of Tea beverages.
