The Memetics menu inOnce Humanis crucial for unlocking new buildings to use in your territory and new items to craft, helping you survive in this challenging world. Whether you’re unlocking new facilities to produce higher-tier items for better gear or indulging in base building, this menu significantly enhances the survival aspect of the game.
In addition to the various Memetics you’re able to unlock, there is a unique type called Memetic Specialization that provides unique buffs, improving your performance across the four different Memetic branches. However, if you find a specialization you want to change and have exhausted your Specialization Memory Cleanses, there is another way, though it’s not the easiest option.

How To Get Specialization Memory Fragments
Specialization Memory Fragments are rare drops from various Monolith and Silo bosses, butyou need Controllers to have a chance at obtaining them.
Given the limited availability of Controllers, which are crucial for maximizing loot from defeated bosses, it’s wise to use them on higher-level and more difficult Monoliths or Silos to increase your chances of a drop.

Hard modeoffers better rewards than Normal, whilePro modeyields the best rewards, but they are no joke. So, if you’re able to assemble a squad to tackle a Monolith or Silo on Hard mode, the process will be much easier.
There is no straightforward way to obtain Specialization Memory Fragments other thanfarming the different Monoliths or Silos. After defeating the corresponding boss, select the option to use Controller/Max Gain for a chance to acquire one.

If you don’t succeed, don’t worry—at least you’ll still receive other valuable items, such as legendary mods, weapon blueprints, and other essentials, so your efforts won’t go to waste.

As far as we know, there isn’t a better location to farm these fragments, and the drop rates are similar across various Monoliths and Silos. For example, running the Gaia Cliff Monolith on Hard will likely yield the same chances as completing the Forsaken Monolith.
Each Controller used hasa small chance of dropping a random Specialization Memory Fragment, which you may use tochange your Memetic Specializations. To use these fragments, open the menu andnavigate to the Memetics menu. In the top right corner, click onMemetics Specializationto view all the Specialization Memory Fragments you possess.
These fragments are determined by level, meaning you can onlyreplace specializations of the same level slot.
Before deciding to switch a specialization, keep in mind that these fragmentscan only be used three times per seasonanddo not carry over at the season’s end, so make your choices wisely.
