While you do have equipment and ways to boost your stats inEverafter Falls, the permanent upgrades for your pet and useful perks come from eating cards like Water Bolt. Each card you eat either gives you that upgrade or perk, or it will boost the effects if you’ve already obtained it.

These cards aren’t always easy to come by though. Those from quests are limited and ones from the Museum take a lot of collecting to get, and it’s best to use them on new cards. If you want to upgrade those you have and get them stronger, you’ll want some Blank Cards.

What Are Blank Cards For?

The only purpose Blank Cards have is forduplicating upgrade cards, like Healing Bond, so youdon’t have to wait for quests or museum collectionsto obtain extras, and it’s also thebest way to upgrade Unique cards.

Eating aduplicate card will boost the perk’s effects permanently, such as making Water Bolt bounce one more time and do one more times the damage.

Each Blank Card can beconverted into a single regular or Unique cardat the printer insideEdgar’s Print Shopin return for Gold, thoughsome cards, like Petrichor,can’t be duplicated or upgradedas they’re a single-level perk.

How To Obtain Organic Paper Fragments

Theonly way to make Blank Cardsis withOrganic Paper Fragments, and there aretwo main ways to get them, though one is a more sustainable option:

Afew questsin the game, such asSpring Seasonal Crop, will alsoreward an Organic Paper Fragment, so verify you do them if they appear.

Eachread or unread lettercan be taken to themini-shredder in Cid’s shopthat isnext to the token machine, or to thePaper ShredderinsidePip and Pepper’s Post Stationin the northwestern area of Everafter Falls.

Once you putsix letters into either shredder, the machine will createone Organic Paper Fragment. Then you canpick it up from the Paper Shredderat thePost Stationwhenever you want, as it canhold multiple obtained fragmentsin its inventory.

The converted Organic Paper Fragments canonly be picked up at the Post Station, not at Cid’s Shop.

How To Make Blank Cards

Once you’ve got some Organic Paper Fragments, it’s time toget them in your inventoryand head to thecrafting menu. Each Blank Card is made fromthree Organic Paper Fragmentsandtwo Super Glue, which is a material that can take some time to acquire.

Super Glue is made fromPine and Box Resin, both of which you can obtain byattaching a Tapping Kitto both a Pine Tree and a Box Tree.

After that, all you’ve got to do istake any of those Blank Cardsover to the Print Shop,go to the Printer, and turn them into whatever card you want foreither 1,500 Goldfor aregular card, or5,000 Goldfor aUnique card.
