Metal Accelerant drops frommunitions barrels and resource boxes in Sterile Lands.It’s one of the starter zones in the game, accessible within the first few hours of play. Normaland Hard modecrates can drop this resource; drop quantities are the same for both difficulties. If you’re able to’t find any boxes near you, simply reload the area or travel to a different region.

You don’t need any special items or Descendants to farm this resource.Use your Ecive scan to locate nearby crates. They’ll be marked with a white diamond on your HUD. You won’t always get Metal Accelerant from opening crates, but it tends to drop in quantities of 100 when it does drop. If you’re attempting to craft a new weapon or Descendant, you shouldn’t need more than a thousand.

How To Use Metal Accelerant

Metal Accelerant is only used to craft items in The First Descendant.It is most commonly used to craft Spiral Catalysts and Stabilizers.Certain Ultimate weapons might also use Metal Accelerant for their Polymer Syncytium blueprint, one of four components needed to forge a new Ultimate weapon. Descendants and weapons usually require 130-500 of this resource per craft, while Ultimate Descendants require upwards of 1,200 Metal Accelerant.
