Lenses are incredibly powerful items inLast Epochthat allow you to target farm almost anything in the game. The ability to target farm specific loot eliminates RNG to some extent. However, this does require a lot more grind compared to Merchant’s Guild, where you can purchase your desired items at the marketplace.

To use Lenses, you must be a part of the Circle of Fortune in The Observatory. You reach this area near the end of the campaign, so you will need to progress a bit before you can experiment with it.

Interacting with these Telescopes willshow you a few Prophecies that you can purchase byspending Favor. Each of these Prophecies will have a specific condition, such as defeating Chronomancer Julra inThe Temporal Sanctum dungeon, and will reward targeted loot i.e. Unique Bows, Small Idols, Set Items, etc.

If you cannot find a Prophecy that you want, you also have the option to reroll available Prophecies for a small amount of Favor, displayed in the bottom-middle of the screen.

Focusing Lens of the Path which is an Arctus Lens to target-farm Boots.

How To Get Lenses

To purchase Lenses, speak with Galila at The Observatory. Lenses cost Favor, which is a currency that you can earn by doing about anything in the game while being a part of COF. Aside from Favor, some Lenses also require you to be at a specific rank with the faction. Lenses are divided into two categories:Regional LensesandGreater Lenses.

Regional Lenses are specific to one type of item, like Arms, Two-Handed Swords, etc. and can only be applied to the appropriate Telescope. For instance, an Arctus Lens can only be slotted into the Arctus Telescope.Greater Lenses, on the other hand, can be slotted into any Telescope.
