The wealth of new abilities added inKingdom Hearts 2 Final Mixhelps flesh out the combat even more. While it’s fun to experiment with all the new ways you’re able to slash through Nobodies, it’s easy to miss the abilities Sora no longer has. Defensive abilities like Dodge Roll are no longer available near the start of your journey.

However, that’s not to say Dodge Roll is gone for good, it just takes a bit more effort to get your hands on. Instead of getting the ability from Donald and Goofy, you now obtain Dodge Roll for leveling up Sora’s new Limit Form.

How To Get Limit Form

Limit Form is unlockedafter completing your second visit to Twilight Town.You’ll receive theOathkeeper Keyblade and Limit Formonce Twilight Town’s episode is all wrapped up. Twilight Town’s second visit is available afterclearing Halloween Town, Agrabah, and Pride Lands.

It does not matter which orderyou complete Halloween Town, Agrabah, and Pride Lands.

How To Get Dodge Roll

Dodge Roll is unlocked byleveling up Limit Form.You gainone experience point for every Limit Command finishing moveyou unleash. While in Drive Form, you can accessLimit Commands in the Shortcut menu.

You can easily level up Limit Form at Agrabah,near the Chasm of Challenges Save Point.From here,enter the Treasure Roomto find a giant Mushroom Heartless. Head up to the Heartless andbegin the minigame.Once the minigame begins,the Heartless will begin healing itself constantlyif you try to attack. Now you can essentiallyuse the Heartless as a punching bagfor your Limit Commands.

Keep throwing outquick Limit Commands like Strike Raid and Sonic Raveto get experience. Once your Drive Gauge starts running low,head back to the Save Point and exit the world.Hop back to the Chasm of Challenges andyour Drive Gauge will be full, allowing you to continue grinding Limit Form experience.
